Would've been a good game for Coventry and Anderson to be involved in tbh. Plenty of space and time in the midfield. They might have been able to hone their attacking deficiencies.
Obviously a lot of fans hate this comp but I would love to actually win something! Maybe this is our year
It is only out of a false sense of who we are now as a club that they hate it. It is actually useful for fitness and blooding/testing young players. And it was entertaining enough.
Seeing as we are through what harm would it do to switch the tie & play Bromley at their place. Tell the EFL we've good drainage issues or we have a ticketing problem & can't supply any.
Such a shame to finally be drawn against them & we have to play at home.

I would have thought the Bromley players and fans would want to play at a big first class stadium. It would be their Wembley game.
Ive been saying this for a while but AMB should be our first choice keeper. He was always much better than Isted. The problem was he was playing behind Hector , an out of form Jones, Terrel Thomas, EDun and Watson. It’s not going to give any keeper confidence about decision making. Now that we are much more solid defending from set pieces, we should put him back in. He is a great shot stopper and that’s where Mannion has been letting them in. If AMB had played this season we would have had a few more points. Even the Wrexham 1st goal should have been saved. Mannion treated it like an unexploded hand grenade. I slightly worry that Jones doesnt exactly know what he is doing. AMB & Taylor should be playing. Docherty should play every week almost regardless of performance because he is the captain and A Campbell shouldn’t be anywhere near the team - and btw I like Danny Hylton even though we should have got someone better and younger , I watched him for years at Aldershot and he always looked like a cart horse even when he was young but then he would do something magical and surprising.
Maynard-Brewer is a much better keeper than many give him credit for. Some outstanding saves tonight and my MOTM.
Zak Mitchell isn't ready to start in the back 4 in the league yet.
Hylton is a carthouse and will be booked in every game he plays. But he is going to be fun to watch.
And, my God,Allan Campbell is absolutely effing hopeless. Seriously what on earth does he offer?
I must have seen that first half very differently from you. Aside from Birmingham, I’ve been his biggest critic so far and he definitely tired in the second half. But in that first half he gave their defence and midfield a torrid time from balls out from the keeper and chased and harried everything high up the pitch and did a really good job.
Been far from impressed with him so far but I thought we might be finally seeing the player we thought he was in that first half.

I agree. Thought he played well in the first 45 and faded a bit second half.
Only watched first half, but was just wondering why Z Mitchell is only getting 6s in Marks thread? He looked to us like he was doing really well up until the break?
AMB the real positive. A good save is a good save at any level and he made about 5.
Taylor made another strong case to start for us, he’s composed on the ball which is something we really lack in CM at the moment, although when you punt the ball 60 yards as a tactic they may mean fuck all.

I like the competition - would be great to get to Wembley. The addition of the u21 sides is my issue with it, rather than any perception of our level.
Putting in again in case anyone missed it… maybe someone could get the name announced at HT to go to security…👍
All I have just found on the corner of Floyd rd by the mural a wallet that contains cards & a driving licence with the name Oliver J Colegate…if anyone knows who this person is I have left it in the front of the office (Bartram entrance) with security
Yeah just needs a tannoy announcement. Anyone know how that's done?
Further to this, i got through to our reception on the phone and they have advised they will make an announcement after the game. Why not at half time I don't know.
Cheers mate, for helping out, yeah that’s weird why not at half time, anyways, let’s hope the fella gets it back..🤞🏻
As stated above, Taylor should be starting in League games & AMB given a go in goal. Leaburn still not 100% match fit but should start matches & then subbed after 60/70 mins. Hopefully Chuks will be fit to replace him.
I don’t know how to start a new thread…& sorry to put this on the thread again,🫣,but was just wondering & hoping that Oliver J Colgate got his cards & driving licence back from front entrance security…🤞🏻
I liked the way Hylton coached Tyreece to his goal. It came from a throw by Berry. Halton instructed Berry how to rake the throw and were to put it. Halton got the ball yelled at Tyreece where to run to and put the ball in his path. Then shouted at him how to get I to tge area to take his shot. He may be slow but has a good experienced footballing brain. He knows the game well.

They better be quick as Miles Leaburn is 21 in a months time !

We saw good and bad from Zach
Leaburn still needs a lot more games to get sharper
Small impressed
A useful exercise for some who aren't getting much gametime

not sure why everyone is digging him out today
Good for leaburn to get a couple.
If he can coach the rest of our strikers to do that, he'll have earned his salary...
