Everyone should just be nice to each other.5

Indeed I've sometimes wondered whether Israel playing in Asia again might help the situation. You wouldn't make the change now obviously, and yes Israel vs Iran would be horrendously tense, but maybe it would have started the process towards reconciliation and a slight normalisation of the relations of the countries of the region. After all Ireland and N Ireland aren't prevented from playing each other, ditto North and South Korea.0 -
Whole thing seems bizarre. Aren't Ajax supposed to have Jewish roots as a club? I am sure their fans adopted the Star of David to recognise that?1

The more worrying thing for me, is the celebrations of the attacks, and the amount of retweets and likes on post over the attacks.
Some fans are even saying they can't wait for them to play against Besiktas. So for those that think this wouldn't have happened unprovoked, it probably would have happened irrespective.
There's some serious issues atm with this. It's essentially cool and edgy to be anti-semitic among a lot of people now. It's mental9 - Sponsored links:

Disgusting. They can't go anywhere without some scum having a pop at them. Perhaps those perpetrators should have took a walk to Anne Frank's house instead.6

Violence at football matches is reprehensible. But antisemitic, racist violence is several degrees worse. Anyone involved - and anyone condoning it - should be thoroughly ashamed.
I have avoided wading through the reports of what went on, for fear of coming across people either excusing it or inciting revenge. But I thought this call to Nick Ferrari was quite interesting. You have to scroll forward to 2hr 55min. But it's worth doing so and listening to the whole call (three or four minutes), just to hear "Ali" from London embarrassing himself.

"What was the score, Ali?"1 -
Also Ziyech should receive a lifetime ban from football. Separating the politics of it all, a professional football player, should never, ever be celebrating fans being attacked at football.
It's extremely dangerous, that a famous footballer with 11.4 million followers on one platform alone, has condoned the behaviour. He shouldn't be allowed to kick a football in a professional setting ever again.

Do you genuinely believe that every single Tel Aviv fan that was attacked last night, was participating in Anti-Palestine chants etc?9 -

On the streets of Amsterdam, tourists are being asked to show their passports where they are from, to prevent being attacked.3 -
If you go to a foreign city intend on stirring up trouble, singing racist chants and destroying property, you deserve to get your head kicked in, which is what seemingly happened3

some reports say that on the metro before the game, Macabi fans were walking through the carriages 'looking for trouble' .. this whole situation might not be as clear cut as it first appears .. this is taken from a BBC report .. QUOTE: Maccabi supporters attacked a taxi and set a Palestinian flag on fire. There are also reports of supporters chanting racist slogans about Arabs UNQUOTE3

There are still people on social media who don't know that, and are celebrating the fixture in hope of their being violence against Jews and getting tens of thousands of likes making these types of posts0 -

If it makes you feel better, it was all pre planned and the Israel fans were all victims.

It also wouldn't make me feel better, as I condemn any fan inciting violence on any other football fan.
My posts are centred around the fact that,
- A professional player, has encouraged attacks on football fans
- there are people in Amsterdam purposely searching for people to attack them if they're Jewish, there's multiple videos proving this.
- People on social media are celebrating these events and wanting to see more of it.

I notice none of the articles state "vile Muslim-hating, Palestine flag burning, genocide-supporting Maccabi fans get their comeuppance"
Funny that...7
