Israeli football fans attacked in Amsterdam

I have avoided wading through the reports of what went on, for fear of coming across people either excusing it or inciting revenge. But I thought this call to Nick Ferrari was quite interesting. You have to scroll forward to 2hr 55min. But it's worth doing so and listening to the whole call (three or four minutes), just to hear "Ali" from London embarrassing himself.

Seems like really appropriate behaviour
All there is to it. I've seen the chants, they're also not right. Do chants from a separate group of fans, justify groups of people essentially hunting lone and small groups of travelling fans?2 -

Some fans are even saying they can't wait for them to play against Besiktas. So for those that think this wouldn't have happened unprovoked, it probably would have happened irrespective.
There's some serious issues atm with this. It's essentially cool and edgy to be anti-semitic among a lot of people now. It's mental

On the streets of Amsterdam, tourists are being asked to show their passports where they are from, to prevent being attacked.
Europe is fucked.3 -

There are still people on social media who don't know that, and are celebrating the fixture in hope of their being violence against Jews and getting tens of thousands of likes making these types of posts
It is currently acceptable among groups* for people to be anti-semitic on social media.9 -

Funny that...
Neither are a lot of the Jews being attacked online simply for being Jewish.

I think the Guardian lead with that headline.1 -

Want to explain to me which part of any of my posts was 'Laugh out Loud' funny?
Quite intrigued how any of my posts qualify for someone laughing is all6 -
One good thing from all this is that the Jew haters on this site have ID'ed themselves.
The sooner Hamas, Hizbollah and their Iranian paymasters get wiped out the sooner there will be peace.
I stand with Israel.

Starts with complete outrage, followed by a couple of attempts at sweary posts in the draught box, then finally, as the minutes pass by calm is restored, it all gets deleted and a simple tap of the LOL button is resorted to.3 - Sponsored links:

Do you genuinely believe that every single Tel Aviv fan that was attacked last night, was participating in Anti-Palestine chants etc?
If it makes you feel better, it was all pre planned and the Israel fans were all victims.
It also wouldn't make me feel better, as I condemn any fan inciting violence on any other football fan.
My posts are centred around the fact that,
- A professional player, has encouraged attacks on football fans
- there are people in Amsterdam purposely searching for people to attack them if they're Jewish, there's multiple videos proving this.
- People on social media are celebrating these events and wanting to see more of it.

He's literally posted videos of people on their own being asked to prove what country they are from. Any scum being anti mulsim/ anti arab or burning flags deserve a slap. Being jewish/ israeli and being attacked for just being there and nothing else other than being jewish/ israeli is what most have the issue with on here.
I dont care if anyone being anti muslim or burning flags gets what for but just being an innocent bystander who happens to be israeli and / or jewish is dispicable. It was only in the summer that a met copper in London told a british citizen on camera to leave the area near a march as he was 'openly jewish"....in london in 2024 ffs.
And yes of course muslims get abuse for being muslims which is wrong but thats pure whataboutery and nothing to do with this football- related story.3 -
Whether Maccabi fans were innocent seems questionable. But, the concept of gangs of Muslim (fighting age ) males taking to the streets to attack them, is truly worrying. Couldn’t happen here ? Of course it could. Do we want Middle Eastern conflicts fought out on the streets of Europe's Cities. Let’s hope the Dutch adopt some Starmer like justice, an dish out hefty jail sentences.

Ideally i like my news factually correct and unbiased. You have to wade through so much crap on Twitter, it's not an enjoyable experience. Musk promotes unbound free-speech and that comes chained to extreme opinion.
The professional media are crying out for a competitor to Twitter, but as of yet no one has stepped forward. It will happen and Twitter will go the same way as Freinds Reunited and MySpace.3 -
Didn't get called out for liking your post claiming the footballer should be banned for celebrating the fans getting attacked on social media. 😕1

My profile picture since October last year seems to have gone unnoticed as well. 🥲2

Another day, another load of CL posters embarrass themselves.
The lack of self control is so weird.9 -

You said these attacks would have happened no matter what, I said theres no evidence of that... then you jumped straight into 'jewish people are victims of hate crimes every day'
its just joining up dots that dont exist, to suit your agenda.3
