If anyone is at a loose end and needs a football fix with a Charlton twist - come on down to Baylis Avenue in Thamesmead and watch Erith Town tomorrow against Hythe
This is their first year in the Isthmian South East and they are hovering just outside the play-offs and out-performing some of the so-called big boys at that level with vastly superior budgets
It's a cracking little set up, some half decent football, a VERY decent burger stall - and their chairman is a Charlton fan. What more could you want!?

Got my football fix with Luxembourg v Bulgaria in the nations league! Great little stadium and always fun to catch an international in another country when possible.

Ebbsfleet lost 6-0 at home to Solihull Moors and their keeper didn't make a single save.....it was 0-0 at HT.0

I almost went to this, as one of my mates is a regular attendee and it's my home town team, (even though I live in Medway these days). I called my mate and he warned me that it'll be full of kids, as they were doing some school promotion, so I decided to back out. So glad I did. Solihull were down to 10 men for about 85 mins, although Fleet had a player sent off later on. I had a peek on a fleet forum and they're all screaming for the manager to be sacked, even though he's only been in charge for a couple of months. Despite being in a percarious position, they decided to appoint an untested manager. Doesn't look like it's gonna pay off.HastingsRed said:Ebbsfleet lost 6-0 at home to Solihull Moors and their keeper didn't make a single save.....it was 0-0 at HT.0
