  • Ebbsfleet lost 6-0 at home to Solihull Moors and their keeper didn't make a single save.....it was 0-0 at HT.
Relegation looks certain, but it's hard to gloat much when Dartford are making such a poor fist of the Isthmian Premier League.
  • FYI Erith beat Hythe 3-0 to maintain their fantastic season so far.
    Well worth a tenner tbf
  • I was going to support some grass roots football today, seeing as there was no championship games. So I thought I’d do my bit and pop down to the Valley, only to see your game was postponed as well for some reason.
    Ouch.
  • Watched Welling loose 1-2 to Havant and Waterlooville in the FA Trophy .Welling were disappointing and are struggling in the league this season.

I almost went to this, as one of my mates is a regular attendee and it's my home town team, (even though I live in Medway these days). I called my mate and he warned me that it'll be full of kids, as they were doing some school promotion, so I decided to back out. So glad I did. Solihull were down to 10 men for about 85 mins, although Fleet had a player sent off later on. I had a peek on a fleet forum and they're all screaming for the manager to be sacked, even though he's only been in charge for a couple of months. Despite being in a percarious position, they decided to appoint an untested manager. Doesn't look like it's gonna pay off.
Always had a soft spot for both the Fleet and Dartford (I'm originally from Greenhithe), thanks for the info.
  • I went to see Merstham beat Beckenham Town 4-2 on Saturday and was very impressed with the standard of the football and the quality of some of the goals. Merstham had a younger high tempo team that thoroughly deserved their win against previously league toppers Beckenham. Pleasant day out watching entertaining football.

I'm not sure 'Pleasant day out watching entertaining football' is allowed if you are a Charlton fan.

He saved a penalty mate. That was as good as it got. Searle should never have been sacked. They did lose poleon to the  international matches.

Not that would have made a difference. They gave up when they went 1 down, and they had a decent crowd there considering.

    On my way to ebbsfleet...
I've got to hope you didn't get there. That must've been brutal.
It was. Familiar to the dross I have been watching all season.

BBC stats...obviously not always 100% correct.
