A big win coming up, lets get this party started!
  • I've lost track or the injuries but something like this would be my preferred although it won't happen.

    AMB

    ASIINWE MITCHELL MAC EDWARDS

    TAYLOR COVENTRY

    CAMPBELL BERRY SMALL

    LEABURN

Let's go to WIN the game. Full backs to over lap, wingers that CROSS THE BLOODY BALL a number 10 that gets into the box regularly, a big target man to get on the end of crosses and holds the ball up. Two combative DMs that can also play

  • Their interim manager was in my year at uni, and is still pals with one of my old housemates.
  • I don't see Jones playing Taylor. He clearly doesn't rate him and can't see Taylor being picked ahead of Campbell (the rubbish one). He didn't make the bench Saturday so unlikely he will start. Hope he does though as we need our strongest team out there.

I hope so too. Taylor was also successful at Burton, as was Ahadme during one of his loan spells there.

  • Personally I go 343 … you could go with Leaburn Ahadme and Godden up top .. Leaburn and Godden feeding of Ahadme as a target man

I'd prefer to go 6-6-4-3 if we could get away with it. Might scramble a draw that way.
  • Not only for the club and our season I hope we win tonight because if we don't and Jones is still in charge come Crawley at home the atmosphere will be toxic

I think we'll lose this fixture. We'll then sack Jones and appoint someone new, who fills us with optimism with above average football until the end of the season. Next season will start with a wave of optimism, then it will go to shit as always, rinse and repeat.
Wow!, your a bundle of laughs mate...🤦‍♂️

No Elliot Watt is a big boost to us, although not sure how he's been doing this season
  • Not really any team news in there, it just confirms injuries
  • Says they missed the trip Saturday but doesn't actually confirm who is out of action tonight.....
  • Why aren’t we wearing red? Are we contractually obliged to wear an away kit when playing away?

Particularly odd as they wear black shorts so we might have to change ours. It will be contractual though, Castore/RSK will want to see the third kit worn a certain number of times

    I believe so, yes
  • We are playing the leagues worst team, so anything less than three points will be a failure.

That said, our run is chronic and Jones' selection and formation is woeful. Drop the box and play the diamond, give the lads a chance.....

The match will be won by a wonder goal tonight, but which team?

If we lose, how much time does Jones get?

Should always play players against their old teams. Look how many ex-players come back & do well against us....usually scoring too.
  • Burton are garbage but so are we. If we lose this then Jones must be nearing the exit..
  • I don't like using the term "must win", especially in November, but Jones and the players badly need to stop the rot and this should be  the perfect opportunity to do that.

TC came back unannouced on Saturday so fingers crossed for another returnee tonight.

    0 - 1 to the Addicks
  • The fact that NJ listed the injured players last Saturday, instead of now, gives hope that at least one may be available tonight
  • Need to win 6 of next 7 league games (a point at Lincoln will do) to make something of the season starting tonight.
  • I have consulted the spririts,  via my crystal ball, and they are telling me that we are crap, but slightly less crap than Burton. They predict a 1-0 away victory.
