Walsall commentators seem to think we're a big club getting all the decisions go our way!
What decisions? - The referee isnt doing anything
No idea mate. I'm just listening to them bitch on about it.

I just heard the BBC Walsall commentary say we look a good league 1 team !! So much better than the Sky commentators of our games recently. They just laugh at our team just like CL posters !
  • Bad injury for their player. Fractured cheekbone doesn't look pretty
  • Would be hypocritical for me to not post seeing as we are winning but wow, gobsmacked

I heard that. Made me smile.
  • 5 mins stoppage time

Think it was their man and Coventry going for the ball and Conor nutted him by accident

We look angry and Walsall just happen to be in our way. Can we do this in the league too?
Been absolutely atrocious since our 2nd

  • Josh Edwards is the best player on the pitch by a mile.   Our football really isn't better, the opposition just much worse!
  • AMB saves from shot straight at him
  • Good attempt to gift Adomah a goal

Don’t let the facts get in the way of HMS Piss The League being launched at 17.00 hours
  • Dangerous free kick for us
  • Comes to nothing..
  • This is great. I think our players, manager and style have found their level here.

Pfft... How can it be HMS Piss the League... this is surely HMS Piss the FA Cup?

So Charlton... Why cant you play like this every week?

Lol at risk of bringing it up again… we DO play like this every week.

It’s currently two nil because of one piece of quality play (cross & header) and a defensive mess up. Otherwise it’s goalless ten mins to half time and this thread is full of complaints about hoofball.
We don’t play like this every week, come on.
Literally 15 minutes into the game the commentators sussed that our tactic was give it to Gillesphey for a long ball to Ahadme. We haven’t changed our tactics at all.
We’ve played the ball through midfield into players feet far more in this game than recent league 1 games
We have also quite clearly changed our tactics as we are using a diamond midfield.

Taylor, Coventry and Berry all being on the pitch definitely helps in terms of playing more football. Real question will be if it is good enough defensively against better opposition
We played with a diamond on Tuesday did we not?

It’s incredible to me to see this happening in real time. Yes we’ve been struggling playing this way for almost two months but we magically cracked it in two training sessions since Burton on Tuesday.

No - far more likely is that the processes are the same but the outcomes are better.
  • Another good delivery by Taylor, should be starting more games on that fact alone.

No This is the turning point of a 10 match unbeaten run 😎

And a “I was wrong about Ahadme” thread after his hat trick today.
