Methven, Rodwell and Scott have to go NOW.

With Rodwell's own comments recently about Chambers being our number 1 transfer target, being quite non plussed if we get relegated, seemingly ok with a bottom 3 budget and expecting to stay up, maybe he's the cause of the lack of activity in this window?
I'm genuinely asking, not suggesting.
With NJ's fiery temperament, maybe they have fallen out, and as such there's a power struggle happening between them?
It was said they had words at full time on Saturday. What Rodwell was doing confronting NJ on the pitch in the 1st place is strange.

has NJ managed to fall out with literally half the squad and the board then?2

Hang on. The facts have been a little distorted here.ozaddick said:With Rodwell's own comments recently about Chambers being our number 1 transfer target, being quite non plussed if we get relegated, seemingly ok with a bottom 3 budget and expecting to stay up, maybe he's the cause of the lack of activity in this window?

When you say ”they had words” and “confronting”, it sounds like a bust up. What I saw on my tv screen was NJ and JR about to go down the tunnel and NJ cupped his mouth to say a quick something to JR. There was no obvious aggression or anger from either. Took less than a second and NJ was down the tunnel.
People saw this and reported that he spoke to JR, but that has somehow turned into a confrontation.
It’s a bit like the NJ/Apter situation. Some are stating, almost like it’s fact that Apter is “trouble” or they’ve “had a bust up” or NJ has “lost the dressing room”.Not blaming anyone, but the Chinese whispers on here really doesn’t help.9 -

The Academy cat avoids him as well.2 -
Hopefully he was asking which of the 3 new players he’s lined up and NJ said all of them0

No idea like everyone on here what was said, but what is clear and wrong is Rodwell should be no where near the pitch at that pointlordromford said:

I don’t disagree, but that’s a whole other conversation.JohnnyH2 said:

Before Christmas the owners were looking for £20m investment, some of that would probably brought in some players. Other than that it’s frees & loans. Jones can’t be happy with that.2

Would appear they didn’t find it and decided to fix the toilet in the AC stand instead. 😉😆guinnessaddick said:Before Christmas the owners were looking for £20m investment, some of that would probably brought in some players. Other than that it’s frees & loans. Jones can’t be happy with that.2 -

I'm happy to be corrected LR. I didn't see the exchange mate, so I was merely speculating on what other posters said, it's just what I recalled.lordromford said:

I'm very pleased to hear that it wasn't as speculated by others. I don't want a rift in the club. Chinese whispers are not helpful at all.1 -

The £20m figure was apparently made up by a reporter, Carter dismissed it as not a figure he was aware of! He didn't deny seeking other investors - something that would be essential (and very likely) if we become the fourth best team in London ;-)1 -
I think they realise that if we stay up , the level of investment to not stand still is going to need some additional investment, pretty sensible strategy but will be interesting to see if it all happens.bobmunro said:guinnessaddick said:Before Christmas the owners were looking for £20m investment, some of that would probably brought in some players. Of course. Wasn’t a dig at you or indeed anyone. I have no doubt I’ve done it myself at some point.ozaddick said:

Just an observation that on here, sometimes situations are open to interpretation and before you know it, an interpretation based on a series of other interpretations has turned into a “fact”.1 -
Last Season Miles Leaburn was definitely leaving because of the way he clapped to the covered end. Sometimes you literally can make this stuff up.4
