People are rightly stating he was the one who gave us Appleton. But We'd also do well to remember he single handedly cast Holden upon us. A bizarre choice who's obvious lack of experience shone through once the nice bloke,new manager bounce wore off.
Come on, Charlie’s must’ve been involved in the Appleton appointment too, especially with the Oxford connection. The gutless way Methven tries to distance himself from any of his decisions is worrying. We need strong leaders to get us out of this league.

Absolutely, the amount of injuries we've had has been somewhat of a running joke for a long time. If he is the one to have actually solved that then full credit to him for it.
Does it mean he hasn't also made some mistakes or that he should not have been moved on, not really.
But still deserves to be credited for the bits he did get right.
