We could be chasing 150 and I’d still back the Aussies.

Small victory to take the 20 wickets in the Test and not letting them get to 500 ahead and declare 5 or 6 down.

Do you want the decimal points Mr. Pedant?

Ben Duckett has been nothing short of an embarrassment this series.

    Pathetic batting. What was that?

At least we have a chance of the entertainment of seeing Pope try to make a start twice

No need to play at that. But it's ok because Duckett doesn't leave balls to go through to the keeper. He plays at everything.

If Pope survives to lunch he’d have exceeded expectations.

Poor shot that. Yet another England wicket, where the batsman hasn't taken account of the extra bounce here

    That's it.

    Now do some gardening.

    Pathetic.

Cant even last 2 overs without losing a wicket.

Duckett is an odd one because realistically he can't play any other way. If England do decide to switch to a more traditional style of play he won't keep getting selected for long

    5-1 at lunch.

    Aus need 9 wickets

    Eng need 430 runs
    Crawley - 125
    Pope - 7
    Root - 140
Brook - 37 (off of only 15 balls)
    Stokes - 100
    Smith - 58

Looks easy when you think about realistic scores for each of our batsmen. Just need some consistency.

First thing we need to do is to take the game into the 5th day. There is supposedly some rain due tomorrow. Probably not much but who knows. The protective covers might rip & the wicket gets water on it. Or a couple of Aussie players get taken ill with the trots.

Pope has achieved his projected 7 runs so I’d argue we’re well on track.

    31-2

It was coming. Very good catch from Labuschagne at second slip and Pope is gone for 17.
