I'd be willing to bet at least 90% of people on this forum have laughed about or taken the piss out of a senior colleague or a manager in their lifetime.
I wonder if Edun ever thought a conversation about his Charlton career would ever decend into a grammatical dust up over missing punctuation and sentence structure?

Though he might have considered the possibility that it would descend into a grammatical dust up...
I suspect given regular game time he’d settle in and be quite tidy. He showed he can at Lincoln and I think Charlton was just the wrong move at the wrong time for him. Not a bad league one footballer and I wish him luck.
Cannot believe he made 30+ appearances. I can remember him being on the pitch and running around a fair bit on a few occasions, but more than 30 times? I hope he goes on to do well, but here, absolutely forgettable.
Definitely had ability but ultimately too lightweight for league one football and also too inconsistent . Carlisle away last season he put in a 9/10 performance , five weeks later at Bristol Rovers 2/10 at best . Can’t say I’ll miss him .
Interesting that apparently they tried to sign him before he went to Blackburn:
"Tayo is another player we have tried to sign in the past, he went to Blackburn Rovers instead, which you can understand. He had a fantastic time at Lincoln City."
Anyway, wish him luck (except against us) but I'm pleased it might free up wages.
don't forget the posh PR machine will be spinning this to sound as good as possible "We've signed a left back who can't get a game at Charlton" also true but doesn't sound good does it?
The official version from SE7 still that outgoings not required to enable incomings. The squad trimming is officially more to do with blokes getting to play and not having bodies at the training ground who have little chance of action at the weekend. TE's situation very different from Terry Taylor's. If Coventry gets injured or suspended, he's the ready made replacement. TT's trouble is that NJ still thinks A Campbell is a footballer, not a no hope shortarse nonentity, so keeps putting him on the bench freezing out Taylor - weird.

I thought there was some tosh said about not enough rom for them all on the training pitch !
On that basis incomings wont be plentiful.
Quality not quantity is a fair defence but hasn't been much in evidence of late.

Happy to help with anything else grammatical

A better description would be, a GT upgrade on Penney.
I forgot to count the imaginary ‘if’s’.
*not counting the development sides
