If Tayo is mocking Nathan Jones, and Lloyd Jones is Tayo’s best mate at the club, then those signals are ominous.5

First signing of the new regime, but in reality the deal was in place before that, I'm fact we were trying hard to get him in the summer beforehand.0

We've certainly had worse than Tayo Edun. Hope he kicks on his career again from here2

I'd be willing to bet at least 90% of people on this forum have laughed about or taken the piss out of a senior colleague or a manager in their lifetime.10

Let's be honest. He was rubbish. I'm not saying that now he has gone, I have been saying it consistently for over a season now. Too weak and too slow.1

I wonder if Edun ever thought a conversation about his Charlton career would ever decend into a grammatical dust up over missing punctuation and sentence structure?8

Never happened for the lad in a Charlton shirt and joins a very long list of players in recent years who had a similar spell in SE70

A player I thought would be a lot better than he turned out to be. But that can be said for a lot of our recent signings.2

On a scale of Powell to Penney, he was a poor man's Purrington4

I suspect given regular game time he’d settle in and be quite tidy. He showed he can at Lincoln and I think Charlton was just the wrong move at the wrong time for him. Not a bad league one footballer and I wish him luck.2
-
Cannot believe he made 30+ appearances. I can remember him being on the pitch and running around a fair bit on a few occasions, but more than 30 times? I hope he goes on to do well, but here, absolutely forgettable.2

Definitely had ability but ultimately too lightweight for league one football and also too inconsistent . Carlisle away last season he put in a 9/10 performance , five weeks later at Bristol Rovers 2/10 at best . Can’t say I’ll miss him .0

I forgot to count the imaginary ‘if’s’.0 -
If we loose Watson and Potts (not sure Jones counts since he is not a full/wing back is he?) As well how many Full/Wing backs do we have*?
*not counting the development sides0 -
One of our Elite players when signed so would expect an Elite player to come in.2

"Tayo is another player we have tried to sign in the past, he went to Blackburn Rovers instead, which you can understand. He had a fantastic time at Lincoln City."
Anyway, wish him luck (except against us) but I'm pleased it might free up wages.
"We've signed a left back who can't get a game at Charlton" also true but doesn't sound good does it?
The official version from SE7 still that outgoings not required to enable incomings. The squad trimming is officially more to do with blokes getting to play and not having bodies at the training ground who have little chance of action at the weekend.
TE's situation very different from Terry Taylor's. If Coventry gets injured or suspended, he's the ready made replacement.
TT's trouble is that NJ still thinks A Campbell is a footballer, not a no hope shortarse nonentity, so keeps putting him on the bench freezing out Taylor - weird.2 -

On that basis incomings wont be plentiful.
Quality not quantity is a fair defence but hasn't been much in evidence of late.0 -
I think it more a case of we found a few gems in his position, not a bad player we just have better than him1
-
Peterborough are absolutely desperate for a LB. Maybe Tayo will come good there.0
