    Exeter 0-2 B/pool
  • One minute added.
  • I’d like to see us leave TC about 15 yards up the pitch from corners. We have no out ball at all

Haven't heard Leaburn's name mentioned all that much...
He's deffo out there, I can see him.

EDIT: just fouled so we have a FK midway in oppo half.
  • Leaburn’s having a bit of a stinker. Ball isn’t sticking often and his lay-offs have been wayward. Would like to see another striker closer to him, occupy another one of their centre backs. Maybe Godden to poach one or Kanu’s energy for a bit of chaos. Then Chuck’s o’clock as early as we can.

  • Blackpool have gone from 2-0 down to 0-3 up now
  • Another opening 45 goes by without us scoring. Over 70% of our goals are scored in the 2nd half.

  • That free kick was so good the ref had to blow the HT whistle.
  • HT 0-0

HT 0-0...we are so far on top it's become even more important to take advantage...needs a shake up half time Nathan, not too convinced with Leaburn so far
  • Christ that was boring…
  • Not a classic but we’re doing ok. Leaburn is looking a bit tired but TC is fired up and Doc looks like he could make a difference
  • Convinced there are Sunday league players that can deliver free kicks more consistently than anyone in our 11.

Campbell and Small the bright sparks. Everyone else pretty average.
  • Also been a game that has so far reminded us that having Taylor on the bench to bring on and take set pieces might have been handy at times this season. Berry’s have been insipid and Gillesphey should be heading them not taking them.
  • Well butter my crumpets, a goalless first half…

    Yawn

All the space is in behind, start hitting it and they'll have to drop back, but we haven't.
Steve Brown been saying the opposite - Shrews happy to sit deep because there’s no space for a ball to stop up before going through to the keeper.

    HT.

Thoughts, we've looked comfortable in possession.

Leaburn done nothing, TC and Small lively yet wasteful, Docherty busy.

    Thats it.

Had a lot of the ball, not created much. If this were a Shakespeare play it'll be 'Much Ado About Nothing'.
  • A lesson in how to dominate without ever looking like scoring

    Absolute abomination of a game.

Special mention for our completely shite set pieces, how many times have we floated a ball into the box and given Blackman an easy catch?
  • Also been a game that has so far reminded us that having Taylor on the bench to bring on and take set pieces might have been handy at times this season. Berry’s have been insipid and Gillesphey should be heading them not taking them.
If they only had all week to practice them.
  • Ball just isn't sticking with Leaburn, looks like we might need Aneke again. Hopefully no later than 60 minutes.
  • Official attendance is under 13,000 so the actual number must be pitiful. Looks and sounds quiet
  • Leaburn not had much of an impact again today. I’d be thinking about getting Chuks on early.
  • Well, the rumour was that Dhrewsbury would come to spoil and niggle and to be honest, that's how it's going. Some endeavour from us but without much finesse, and hard to see where a goal is coming from.
