Typical Shrewsbury performance! Ainsworth planning his smash and grab !! If only we had a creative midfielder 😝 we just need to keep at it and the goal will come I’m sure. Miles looks miles off it first half hopefully we are still 0-0 when chucks gets on to create his mayhem0

Shrewsbury are absolutely hopeless. The only way they will score is from a corner or free kick.
We are totally on top. Playing some OK football but, Campbell apart, don't look like scoring. Leaburn just having one of those days and looking well off it.
Hope Jones doesn't leave it too long before bringing Aneke and Godden on.1 -

Shrewsbury look very poor - no final ball when attacking. Lots of possession for us but zero threat.
Our corners are dreadful as are most of our freekicks. Have to do better.

Miles can be really frustrating. He will make a play that displays his talent and then go twenty minutes where he loses every battle against smaller defenders and not pressing or giving much effort.0

Very laid back half with all the possession but no cutting edge. Small marked very tightly but TC shining. If we can get Chuks on alongside Miles we could smash them but not sure Jones will go for it yet.
We need a goal otherwise they could undo all of Tuesday's hard work.

At the game. They are a poor side, we needed an early goal but we dont do them very often. TC and Small the danger men,Leaburn,Mitchell and Gillesphey poor. This lot are there for the taking. Not sure what our set piece coach does all week,dead ball delivery is so poor.1

The 2 things that stand out are the lack of a quality midfielder to thread the ball through. Plus that Leaburn is not a target man, you can confirm that with the look on his face when he loses each header.1
