I don’t think the Brummie Police would welcome more fans but if the guys on here say it isn’t an issue then I’m sure they know best!!
The city has hosted semi finals before but having four clubs (each with thousands of fans) within a two mile area (that’s the distance between Villa Park & St Andrew’s) is arguably harder to police than a semi final with just two clubs.
The fact that Villa play at home to Ipswich on the same day could affect us getting more tickets.
With Ipswich taking just under 3000 to Villa Park & us taking just under 2000 to St Andrews it’s unlikely the police will want / allow more away fans in the area.
Especially when us & Ipswich will most likely be trying to catch the same trains back to the south east after the game.
Blimey, I always thought that Villa and Birmingham did not play at home on the same day.

That report was from last October. Villa had a CL fixture against Bologna & Brum a game against Bolton. Visiting fans coming from different directions & certainly not in the numbers that will be there on Sat.
Gutted I’m not going. I haven’t been since Mickey Apples last game! That’s the longest since I moved. My father in law is in palliative care so can’t plan to go anywhere atm in case. Give them all a cheer from me 😞

Tickets for Charlton's upcoming Sky Bet League One fixture at Birmingham City have now sold out.
1,977 Addicks will be making the trip to St. Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park on Saturday, February 15th (KO 3pm GMT) to get behind Nathan Jones' team.
The club requested a further allocation from the hosts, but unfortunately no additional tickets are available.

More police are being used to target criminals who are stripping cars of their parts while they are parked during football matches in Birmingham.
Regular patrols were taking place around the Birmingham City ground after officers have had concerns raised by fans, West Midlands Police said.
The force said several people had been charged in relation to car stripping over the past 18 months.
Have an itch over this one, and i've already checked for nits!
Reckon we'll nick it (the game, not your catalytic converter).
