Football is overcomplicated at times, stick a couple of mean eastern Europeans at the back and let head and kick the ball/opposition away for the duration.
A lot of managers have forgotten that goalkeepers and centre backs are primarily there to defend, and not to be playmakers.

Brilliant, that'll teach Liverpool to be cocky and rest too many!

    Hazard and Katic were superb.
I can understand why they took the risk, with the EFL Cup semi last Thursday and Everton on Wednesday

Maybe he was a Liverpool fan growing up but takes his son to Plymouth now.

How on earth did that bloke this was an acceptable look - honestly ‘modern football’ is just weird 🙄
  • Got a soft spot for Plymouth since I saw that great speech from the manager a few weeks back.

Great result.  Hope he keeps them up
  • Just been trumped by Queens Park beating Rangers at Ibrox

So are you describing him as grown up?
Wearing that get up, I have my doubts.
  • Presumably Liverpool get another chance in the FA Cup as they only played their 3rd XI
  • Outstanding, old school, performances from the Plymouth defence. Every team used to have a no nonsense beast of a defender back in the day and Plymouth seem to have signed two last month. Fair play.

Liverpool got no more than they deserved.

With Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea out of the cup, what's the odds on an all Manchester cup final again. Hope they get drawn together.

Not sure why everyone is celebrating this result …. Odds on Palace winning the cup just went up!

My wife's family are Argyle fans.

That man will wear that shirt with pride for years to come.

Anyone remember when Plymouth Argyle's business aim was to emulate the success of Charlton Athletic. Hmmm, I wonder what happened to that.

Soft spot for Plymouth. What a fantastic game and result. Cracking defensive display. Hope they stay up.

Liverpool should be banned from taking part in the FA Cup, in fact all domestic cups and a heavy fine for playing their 2nd and 3rd stringers players. Although Argyll will be pleased of their win but it’s undervalued. I’m sure all the fans that turned up wanted to see their first team regardless of the result. It’s not often premiership players turn up in their neck of the woods and this would be their rare chance.
I’m sure Liverpool fans that made their way to Plymouth to watch their team would be equally disappointed.
For me now, Liverpool can go and fuck themselves and I will be hoping that don’t win the prem or any European silverware.

    Grrrrrr!

Quite liked Slott initially but now realise his just another foreign prick with no respect for the great English game.

Unfortunately our 'cup final' (the only other fans I used that term was Birmingham fans) is at St Andrews so doubt it. They might try to get rid of the remaining half and half scarves when we travel to the racecourse though.

So that is why they got us to recycle our old shirts.
