understandable if you’re young and all you’ve known is the utter junk of third tier crap and the intermittent flirting in the second tier .
previous to your young lives millwall were 95% of the time the mingiest club in south London with us and palace battling it out to be top dog .
We’re so far away from palace now if we were a dog we’d be put down .
Saying all that I’ve been to more away games this season than many a year but that’s doing my bit for family peace .
Anything less than promotion is failure, so a draw at least required tomorrow but come on ffs Orient have half our budget and we’re on an even par with them coming in to this game , utter fucking guff .18 -
We need to get Small and TC in the game and if they are effective, we win. They are not at full strength defensively and we need to jump on that.1

The plus for me is that two months ago I approached our games much more in hope than expectation. Now though, I am confident that whatever the result this will be a close and hard fought game. Let’s just hope the big moments go our way.9

If Hylton is on the bench I might actually combust
He should only be getting a place on the bench if we have a major injury crisis
If he is a great coach then brilliant but he should be only here as a coach, giving him a player/coach role is a joke IMO and only done because he is mates with NJ, no other club going for play offs would be giving Hylton a playing role.

A tough game but let's hope that Orient's reserves of stamina have been drained during in the last week, particularly going down to 10 men after 10 minutes on Tuesday. They are also contending with a lot of injuries, especially in central defence, plus their impressive left-back is suspended. In contrast, we have a clean bill of health and have to hope that our key players stay fit for the last 14 games (plus, hopefully, three more).
I'd be well pleased with a draw tomorrow and four points next week. In one sense, the Orient and Stockport fixtures are 'must not lose' games, although we have pace and creativity if we can get Campbell and Small involved and a win in either game would be a huge boost, so I expect us to have a real go.1 -
I think we might nick it. My cousin writes the fanzine for the O’s and family ties dictate that I want to see them do well on the whole. They’ve had a great season and have been on a great run. They do have injuries as you point out Blucher. When I messaged my cousin discussing the game, we both agreed it’s not one you want to lose, and personally I would take a draw. I think defeat would be worst for them, as it would be 3 defeats on the bounce

Leaburn has come on and been brilliant to see out recent wins. Hylton just fouls people and wins the odd one himself. He looked miles off it before and hasn’t played for months now. Would be absolutely mental if he’s on the bench, and if Jones rated him higher than other options surely we’d have re-signed him straight away?Callumcafc said:

I've never really travelled to away games, but I did make an epic journey to the Orient in 1978 (across the Thames not the Euphrates).
My memories evoke the words grey, bleak, dire. We ground out a 0-0 to help us stay up and I think that was the year we'd released Flanagan and Powell to the New England Tea Men.

No Currie would be a huge bonus for us. Very very good player for this level and someone I reckon could have handled Small. If he's unavailable and they're already stretched at the back we could get some joy out wide.0

Harsh on Anderson but I think you have to play your captain in a game like this. Anderson has looked good coming on as a sub during our upturn in form, so he can still have a big impact on the game.3

I didn’t see Anderson play last week but he is a player I I’ve always liked anyway. However, to me he is a work in progress that needs refining and not someone I’d start in this game, particularly if Pratley starts as well, because my guess is he’d get targeted to be sent off with a couple of bookings. Since the start of the year, I have viewed this as a more important game than the trip to Birmingham. A proper 6 pointer. I'm just gutted that I'm not able to watch today, but from 3pm, I'll be constantly refreshing my phone.1
