Bit of play at the end of the half highlighted the improvement of TC from a year ago. Brushed off a man at least half a foot taller than him to win the ball, didn’t go down when the ref wouldn’t give a foul and gives us a chance to put the ball in the box3

Strange half. Barnsley looked more creative but we got in ahead. Keilor Dunn for them looks very good. Not bad from us though, wouldn’t mind us using the midfield a bit more as when we have we have created. Poor Josh having a stinker so far!1

Feels like it needs freshening up this evening. We look leggy, especially in midfield.
We need to do something to address the time and space Keillor-Dunn has, he is running the show at the moment.
Not sticking up front for us and I can see an early change with Leaburn coming on. Possible that Anderson may come back in for the energy he offers as well.
Stats aren't telling a fib this evening and they reflect the fact that Barnsley have been the better side.
Going to need to improve in the second half if we want the 3 points.5 -

The only blott on that half was a needless booking for Edwards. Barnsley are decent through the middle but their defence is not the best and I'm not knocking our goal but the keeper went down in instalments.1

We were second best in the first 45. Owe our goal to poor goalkeeping.1

Fairly ho hum half, Barnsley have had some half decent situations without creating anything. They've been pressing us well, so we've reverted a bit too much to hoofball.
What we do have is a decent bench.1 -
Been poor but we are ahead. Need to improve second half. Can't see Keilor-Dunn being in League One next season. Letting him and Humpreys have too much of the ball in the pockets in front of our back five. Fresh legs needed? Can see a couple of changes around the 60 minute mark.2

Bit of an odd performance. We look pretty good at times but I feel they look more fluid and dangerous with the ball around our area.They’re making us hit long to Godden and winning the second ball in midfield to turn us.
Their 10 is decent and control we’re going to need more than one to win this.0 -

Pretty even really. We've had the best of the possession, but haven't achieved much for it - but then we are a goal up so we don't have to. They've had less of the ball but (our goal aside) have looked more dangerous with it.
Ramsay and Gillesphey having great games. Pleased that Mannion has comfortably caught everything coming in his direction. We can win this, but it won't be easy, might need a bit more energy in the second half.3 -
We do look a bit leggy.DKD looks very dangerous for them.Wonder if Anderson for Coventry might be a shout. It’s a big one!Can’t lose that midfield battle because of tired legs.

Feel like we will have to go up a gear or two to come out with three points. Felt a tad pedestrian at times but then our wingers would beat a man and we looked dangerous. They definitely will create more chances. Pitch comes across in terrible nick on the telly. Their defence really looks like it can be got at...COYR!!!1

Midfield looks a little over run.
Not enough from Doherty
Coventry too many misplaced passes
Berry wasting corners and not linking well
MG becoming a cult hero!
Like to see Gilbert, Kanu and Leaburn introduced before too long as we look a little leggy.
A win here would be huge!0 -
Yeah Barnsley look like they have a goal in them and we look a bit tired. Like to see Gilbert or Anderson for Berry. Hope we can improve and snatch a second goal. Nerves will come in the longer it goes on.0
