Two cracking goals and an abundance of talent and still I found it boring. Maybe my expectations are too high, but I'd rather watch a random League One match than an England qualifier.

International football is generally boring to watch. IN fact, football is getting more and more boring to watch generally.
Endless passing around and maintaining possession at all costs. Limited forward passes and even fewer shots. Boring.
Edit: And how much is it the want for a seat these days for England matches?
World Cup Qualifier in not being very entertaining shocker!
True, nobody's surprised. But it SHOULD be entertaining, shouldn't it? People are asked to pay enough to watch it.
Albania came to kill any spectacle, England got 3 points and sit top of the group. The players and TT don’t set the ticket prices.
I'm very pleased that England won.
But I don't understand why people can't just admit it is often a difficult watch, watching them make endless passes that go nowhere for ages without an attempt to have an effort on goal.

The Nations League was a good idea to replace the dreadful, meaningless friendlies. However, World Cup and Euros have now been expanded so much that there's no jeopardy in the qualifiers for the major nations in Europe. If we underperform away to Serbia, we might only get a draw there. Other than that, we'll win all our games, but it'll be incredibly dull, primarily because all our opponents will play to keep the score down. That applies to all the major European nations.
The 8 highest ranked sides should qualify automatically, and play an enhanced Nations League instead of qualifying. The remainder can play a qualifying tournament where the majority of games aren't a foregone conclusion.
Had just got out of the ground as the second went in. Routine job done.
What has happened to Foden? I thought he was pretty poor this eve.
You left before 77mins? Why would you pay that money and leave early just to beat the rush? Agree Foden was poor
Only cost me 25 quid and Wembley matches are a pretty poor experience. Non stop paper airplanes being thrown in a dead atmosphere.
Just there to get the required caps for WC tickets.
Fair enough ive not been to an England game for quite a while. My kids want to go to Wembley ive told them we're going for Charlton in May. If not I will have to look at England games
Very experimental .. giving a few a chance to re-establish themselves and others to make a case .. I reckon Dan Burn has a good chance of becoming a regular IF of course he makes the most of a debut v what must be limited opposition
He'll be ok in these 2 games and i like him as a player, as he's clearly a guy that will give his all, but i really hope we don't go into a major tournament with him as a starting centre back. I don't think he's that good on the ball and he would be absolutely ruined by anyone with pace. I'm not sure he'd even start for Newcastle if Botman was fit.
Being good on the ball is kind of his thing! Apart from being really tall
I wasn't that impressed with Burn. Ezri impressed me.

Games finished, world's gone made and I blame the parents.
