Nice counter attack but TC’s cross deflects to the keeper

    Thats better.

Now for a third & tie the game up.
    Why stop there!!
Don't want to use all our goals up. Save some for Huddersfield, Wycombe & Wrexham. 😀
    There's no pleasing you!

We need to score more goals ... no, save them them for next week and the week after.

    WHICH IS IT???!!!

Lovely stuff. Fully deserved. Hint offside? Who cares.

First brace for a Charlton player this season?
Leaburn vs Wycombe. Didn’t Berry get 2 away at Barnsley as well?
Two for Docherty against Northampton as well I think. And of course two for Gas against Walsall

Watch Godden for that second goal.
Keeps his defender busy, looks along the line for offside, loses his defender a bit, pulls back slightly to stay onside, then at the instant Gillesphey heads it across, makes his move.

    Absolute masterclass of timing.

Shout out to 33 year old Godden who ran from box to box to be there for the (caught) cross.

    Rotherham 1-0 Exeter

Now if they can do that on Tuesday against Wycombe it would be...

Think we can put to bed the idea we’re no good at set pieces, now. They’ve improved immeasurably. Delivery is so much better but so is the movement and the variety. We scored there off a deep one with a knock down a 4 players on the move for the second ball when earlier TC was unlucky coming on to hit a clever near post flick from Godden. That’s on top of the Orient and Peterborough game winners a few weeks ago which were a different type of goal again.

Two for Leaburn against Chelsea Children in the banter cup also if you count that sort of nonsense

Quick heads up/warning : There appears to be a red and white steamroller on the loose in the SE7 area!

Utterly dominant.  Need to get a hatful here to get our goal difference sorted.  Best ref I’ve seen in this division since, well, ever I think.

Can see why he doesn’t normally do L1 games. Were his second game of the season I think so clearly easing back into things

Jokes aside am relieved we've got a two goal cushion, and agree a 3-0 score would avoid the dreaded Desmond - The cushion, just gives us a bit of comfort; Ryan Lowe will have had 45mins to assess his team, will have had 45mins to assess us, and am sure Wigan will come out in the second half a different team... They have to!!
