Also 07/08 we were a Championship club. 17.5k
That was with the promise of a free ST if we got promoted back to the premier league.

Out of interest are the digital ones barcodes or more like a debit card in your apple wallet?

No, I think the digital season tickets display a QR code that you'll need to hold under the barcode scanner at the tunstile for it to let you in. The bank cards in your apple wallet use NFC, so you only need to hold your phone near a reader for it to work, it doesn't need to scan anything displayed on the screen.

The physical season tickets use NFC, so you just touch them on the reader (like an Oyster card). I think they are slightly quicker for getting you in than scanning your screen which can have the usual issues with screen brightness, scanner having a mare etc......

Just a QR Code - not sure if it's NFC enabled.

Thanks both, NFC would have been much quicker and no glare issues so a missed opportunity I think

Yeah it's the reason I opted for the physical ticket. Of course there's always a danger you could lose it which the digital one doesn't have, well....unless you lose your phone!

With the physical ticket you can also take a photo of it with your phone. That works at the gate as well so you always have a back up if you lose or forget your physical ticket.

Photos of the season ticket don’t work. Tried it before, only the actual card itself will scan.

Is it numbers ‘sold’ or numbers of season tickets issued .
Didn’t I read that there’s a few complimentary ones issued , to the community trust or something like that or at least there was in the past
The number of season tickets given away will be small.
Very much smaller than the complimentaries issued for matches which creates that nonsense discrepancy between the official "attendance" and the obviously smaller number of people present.
It is also much more likely that the complimentary season tickets will be utilised most of the time - unlike the bulk of the match to match giveaways.
It will likely be several hundred and they are not necessarily used. All staff used to get season tickets, the players will probably get their comps that way, so do EFL sponsors, and they tend to treat the match officials and press as season tickets.

Andy Petterson gave us his STs for a few years, great memories in the Portacabin bar.

Hadn’t thought of that, thanks. Good to have a back up.

There's a 'forward' symbol which then allows you to share it via Whatsapp etc I assume the other person would then need to share it back with you afterwards.

Supporters will save more than £170 if purchasing a Zone 3 season ticket compared to purchasing tickets on a game-by-game basis.

I was planning to purchase a ST at end of the month but now they are selling regular tickets for the home games - will I end up with a shit seat or possibly not being able to buy a ST if it’s a sell out? Hadn’t thought they’d be selling the tickets so early tbh

Tricky one, as there's always the chance of the QR code pattern changing.

I got my email a couple of days ago that included all three of our STs as I had purchased them on my ticket account as I usually do. I just forwarded it to my boys for them to download their ones to their wallet - so I assume you would just do the same if you can't use it for any particular match.

A friend renewed at the ticket office today and the girl serving him claimed we've now sold 12,000.

I would love this to be true.
But surely if it was the club would announce it.

If we have sold around 1500 season tickets since the clubs announcement 7 days ago, then fair play

    But I doubt it
  • The supporting season ticket guides / help files on the club's ticket website are still for the 2024/25 season.

What will be fixed first - the website or the lock on trap 3 at the back the Curbs - I'm going for the lock.

Must admit, I’m not convinced that has happened  though we have dropped into the next calendar month / July and it’s likely there will have been fans holding off / budgeting purchasing their ST until now. Time it right with their credit card and that could push payment out to after the season has actually started. Obviously, if ST sales have gone past the 12k mark then you would have thought the comms team would have made a big thing about it to encourage others to jump on board as well.
