  • Good to see our ‘partners’ in the IT solutions sector continue to support the club in running these things smoothly.

I assume the 16-20 yrs concession areas are nearest the away fans, to maximise the Nescafe and pseudo throat slitting hand puppet set?

If you are 65 in September can you get reduced prices. Not asking for me🤪
My birthday is the 3rd August, i had similar decision last year either to renew at the discounted price or wait till after my birthday to renew. I did the former and it cost more but at least i kept my seat i have had for the last 30 years.
  • I’m amazed how pro-active people are in getting things done quickly. No doubt I’ll be be doing mine the day before the deadline
I get paid today, on the 21st of each month and March is always with an annual bonus which can cover it so like to just get it done out of the way and while it’s at it’s cheapest price.

They're the sort of people who've finished their Christmas shopping by the end of September.
  • I'm in. £485 plus the £1.50 booking fee feels cheeky.
  • The issue whereby for example you could not renew a child season ticket where they moved into the new under 12 category for the upcoming season has been resolved

Not yet fixed for me, but thanks for the heads up. Family stand renewal + Valley Gold discount for me. I sent them screenshots last week to help them out, no doubt others have pointed out the issue. They'll get there, I'm intrigued to see how long it'll take.
  • Renewal online was as smooth as a baby's bum for me.
Have opted for digital tickets. What could possibly go wrong?  :#

Same here, still not able to renew our tickets in the family stand, but no panic as yet.

Not being able to renew season tickets with an U-12 ticket in the basket - the issue is now fixed, well it is for my ticket combinations. @BlackfenLen @Jon_CAFC_
  • If you have a digital ticket and you change phones can you transfer it to the newphone.

I'm yet to pay using cards on my phone .. modern technophobe

If you use the current cards like a contactless bank card, they are so much quicker then trying to scan a bar/qr code
I’m constantly amazed that the club doesn’t put out the info about this being possible, most matches I watch both adults and kids struggle to get the bar code under the scanner properly and when I tell them they can just tap it like an Oyster they seem astounded.

Well that’s the first time I’ve ever seen that, and judging by the amount of people who I tell about the contactless entry as we go through the turnstiles each week who are very surprised I don’t think many have seen it.
  • I never noticed that scanning box under the scanner before. Maybe a little sticker there saying "tap season ticket card" with an arrow would have helped.
  • Again yesterday going through the turnstiles I had two people with season tickets struggling with the scanner until I told them about the ability to just tap.

Would it be too much to have a leaflet sent out with the season tickets each year pointing this out?

I noticed yesterday it had some kind of transparent sticker across it but at a glance it made it look like an out of order notice and to my mind effectively hid the functionality. Agree it needs promoting for next season at least. An email to everyone on the database would be lowest cost/carbon solution I'd suspect.
  • The new entry screens have a large contactless symbol.

it's bonkers - just tap the slanted part of the contraption and bingo - you're in.

how there are still some people who haven't yet worked this out is baffling - some people at the turnstyles are literally hilarious

  • Am I misreading this: Zone 2 renewal price is £350 for an adult, Zone 2 renewal price for the over 65s and under 21s is £360, surely an over 65 / under 21 will just by an adult ticket price and save themselves £10?

Significantly more expensive for Zone 1 too (£85 more)

Is this some attempt to force the elderly / young adults to use Zone 3

Phase One prices are also more expensive in Zone 1 and 2 for over 65/under21

Sorry if someone else has mentioned it but didn't see it here.

You are misreading it. The adult prices you are quoting are themselves concessions for disability. I have no idea what you would bother with different price points adjacent to each other though or why you would give a disability concession in two areas but not the other.

i don’t believe there are any wheelchair spaces in zone three anyway, so not sure why there is a price.

If that digital ST is anyrhing like the curremt QR codes, it will be a carcrash and make the queues 10x worse
You will be able to add it to Apple Wallet or Google Pay. My ticket for Saturday was on Apple Wallet and it worked perfectly.
