  • The thing with Orient this season is they seem to go on long runs of wins and losses. I know form sort of goes out the window in the play offs but if they lose the first leg I can see them losing the second fairly easily too. It's been a monumental effort for them and Reading to even have a chance.
  • If we play Stockport or Orient at Wembley, they can play the underdog card - "We've been in L2 and the NL recently, all the pressure is on Charlton, the former PL club with their big name manager" etc

If we play Reading, they can play the "miracle to get to Wembley with out financial restrictions" card.
  • In Manchester that week so Stockport away selfishly wouldn’t be the end of the world but would much rather get back to London for it
I think the table will stay as it is though so I’ll be dashing from Manc to Wycombe

If the current 4 in the playoffs off places remains the same, I think its safe to say we would take the most to Wembley. At most Wycombe/Orient/Stockport might take 25k. We could get an even bigger allocation than the 38k we had last time which was limited by the fact we were playing another big club.
I thought the Sunderland game we only just about sold our allocation out in the end?

There may have been a small number of boycotters still but given that was our first trip to the new Wembley i'm not sure we'd take much more than we did that game if at all but would still be significantly more than any of the other play off contenders and would make it feel like we have the home advantage especially as we'd be wearing our home kit especially if we get there and face Orient.

‘Home’ kit is determined by a toss of the coin isn’t it not league position?

I'm sure in 1998 it was determined by coin toss and 2019 was by league position.

  • Thick we have to win the play off games yet dont we.
No it was a trade off. Capitulate to Wrexham for TV and you can have your home kit at Wembley 😉😆

There will be no issues over tickets for the final, we’ll probably have more tickets than we’ve ever been allocated for a match in our history. The semi-finals might be a different story, especially the away leg.
  • I think having the home leg first suits the sort of team we are. Just a gut feeling.

Can someone clarify - do they go on general sale to non season ticket holders on Monday or Tuesday? Seems to say general sale twice, which is confusing to me!

It’s Monday for non season tickets holders and assume they mean any tickets still left will be back on sale on Tuesday am

The first part of the communication says HOME leg.
So HOME leg on priority sale 11am Sunday & GENERAL sale 11am Monday.

AWAY leg on priority sale 11am Monday and further details re priorities and priority allocation is to be announced over the weekend.
I can't see away tickets going as far as General sale.
  • Cheers both

Monday, but season ticket holders seats are held until Tuesday so will also become available on general sale after that
