    I think by Slovenia there’ll be at least three more in with the remainder quite late in the window. The really sought after players often hold out for the best offer as long as possible.

    I fully expect a lot is going to happen over the next 12 days. 

    We have clear links that sound like they are going to happen, and imagine there might be a couple of surprises in there as well. 

    This time last year we only had two signings in. I expect you were probably pointing that out at the time as well - turned out alright in the end.

    Berry and Mannion last year. Jones 2 years ago.

    All on frees and announced before the 1st July

    It all depends on how clubs want to do it, some of them request it's not posted up til the 1st July as they've then officially let the player go, other clubs don't give a toss

    None, doesn’t matter when someone’s contract ends as you can announce them as arriving at the end of the deal. The only potential reason is if you’re paying a fee really as it could get you into a new financial year for PSR stuff

    I suspect it wasn't a genuine rumour but in my opinion Luke Molyneux would be a decent signing . Quick , left footed with something to prove with a good pedigree having come through the Academy at Sunderland 

    As long as we also take on players experienced at the level he could be a good wildcard signing.

    Don’t officially start pre season till the 7th July and don’t even go away on the Slovenia tour for another 2 weeks. Bear in mind we also have agreed fees for Olaofe and Kaminski which already look as good as done (touch wood) so they will be here before next week. That gives us 3 of the anticipated 7 signings before we even start preseason with another 2 weeks to work on the other 4 before the tour which is arguably the most important week in pre season, we’re in a very good position.

    They do, but as said there are plenty of examples every year of signings being announced before 1st July when they officially join their new clubs, as we saw with Carey.

    Remember how quick things change too. 

    3 days ago no-one was mentioning Kaminski, now he's apparently as good as done. 

    Wouldn't be surprised if we sign at least 1 player in the next 10 days that hasn't been mentioned once on here

    The players don’t return till
    next week 7 July and we leave a week later for the training camp so we have two full weeks to bring some players in ..not all our shopping will be done by that time ..

    I think it was leaked at the other end. Maybe we want to do as much business as possible behind the scenes so agents don’t do the maths and conclude that they can squeeze a bit more out for ‘their’ deal.

    The only Carey leaks that day were that he was in talks with Derby. It surprised everyone, us, the other forum, twitter and the Blackpool forum

    The problem with current Scottish internationals is that they value themselves too highly. We know that only two Scottish Premier teams would flourish in the Championship, and some would struggle in League One, but they are brainwashed to think differently. He is about the standard we should be aiming for, but he will think he can walk into an English Premier side.
