Be a bit disappointed if nothing happens today, would like at least one in, getting a bit close to pre season now.2

Why though? We're not even back in training yet.Yann897 said:Be a bit disappointed if nothing happens today, would like at least one in, getting a bit close to pre season now.
For me as long as we've made a few new signings by the time we fly out to Slovenia then it's all good. If we don't have many in by then i'd agree it'll be concerning but as of now, i'm not bothered at all.10 -
My source tells me no doubt about it.bobmunro said:Henry Irving said:

It's a possibility, I think.

I've been trying to stay away from this thread so as not to increase my usual 'why aren't we signing anyone' anxiety.
It hasn't worked.
I did listen to the 'You Don't Know What You're Doing' pod where they interviewd Dimitri Mitchell (Exeter wing back/winger), who explained why most transfers tend to take place near the end of the window, but my anxiety levels are still way too high.
If anyone hears any transfer rumours can they post them on this thread please.
Cheers...3 -
I shouldn’t really but I guess it’s been a long while since our last signing and seeing all the other clubs signing players when we need it most, but hopefully 2 or 3 come in this week to settle the nerves.Chris_from_Sidcup said:

A) How cheap the selection is
B ) The emoji
C) We were under embargo so it was all deceptive
D) That we ended up with Matt Smith
Genuinely interested. Yes it's all of the above, but which one for you?1 -
🚨 Charlton Athletic have agreed a deal to sign Luton Town goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski.🚨 Kaminski, 32, has spent the last two seasons at Kenilworth Road, suffering back-to-back relegations from the Premier League down to League One.🚨 The Belgian will move to the Championship side for an undisclosed fee, and personal terms between the club and the player have been agreed.

Think you'll find that's now Leyton Orient winger Demitri Mitchell. Meanwhile we're signing Kaminski, shows the different pond you can shop in when you're promotedJamesSeed said:I've been trying to stay away from this thread so as not to increase my usual 'why aren't we signing anyone' anxiety.

Don't know much about the keeper but should we not be worried that he's been there for two seasons and faced back to back relegations? 😂😂8
-
Gotta say buzzing with Kaminski, remember watching him in the prem a fair bit as I had him in the fantasy team never did I think two years later he’d be at Charlton. Shows how quick things can change in football.27

Yeah , i must admit, i'm not a big fan of Oasis either, but its a reminder of where we were.eastterrace6168 said:0 -
That's a true number 1 keeper. No doubts there. He goes straight in.
Wonder what it means for Mannion / Ash? Do we have 3 keepers in the champ?1 -
Just the calibre of players we are rumoured with is enough for me at the minute. Kaminski, Burke, Olaofe, Famewo, etc. all very promising.13
-
Agreed nice to see the quality we can attract now and hopefully it continues,at 32 not a bad age for a keeper either think van de sar joined united at 34 and arguably had the best period of his career, not saying he's on that level but should get a good few years out of him, all going well.Yann897 said:Gotta say buzzing with Kaminski, remember watching him in the prem a fair bit as I had him in the fantasy team never did I think two years later he’d be at Charlton. AMB will definitely be off, would assume we would aim for a sale. Think injuries massively hampered his development and it is unlikely he'll be good enough to play in the Champ. Will get a good move to a high end L2/lower-mid L1 sideDamoNorthStand said:That's a true number 1 keeper. No doubts there. He goes straight in.

Outstanding signing. I also had him in my fantasy two years ago. Brilliant for Will to learn from also.17

Didn't 'Big Hermann' have a few relegations on his cv , 5 i think?3

Really hope we get offiah through aswell gone a bit quiet on that front.Pelling1993 said:Just the calibre of players we are rumoured with is enough for me at the minute. Kaminski, Burke, Olaofe, Famewo, etc. all very promising.5 -
Let’s not forget we can offer players extra week off33

It has always bothered me why there is only one bottle of Oasis. It seems like someone likes 7up and is well supplied. Likewise someone likes water - no problemo. Someone has a big bottle of Lucazade to neck over the next 29 hours - all good. The lady gets a lady sized amount of Coke, lovely jubbly. And some poor fucker likes his Oasis but he must have pissed Southall off because fck him. He only gets the one bottle. make it last - and forget about the mini rolls - I hope you brought some sandwiches.balham red said:
