He played wide as well as a striker before, but yeah he wouldn't be on my radar if I was in charge

As much as I would like him back, I think this rumour was a bit off piste

He did well for Sheff Utd last season I thought.  Could see one of the upper Champ teams wanting and paying the money for him

Wow, just shows what we're competing against, 1 player was nearly our entire transfer budget.

As I said to Nicole last night, JRS to Charlton was never going to happen.

Not sure but she’s started following Southampton on X.

    That or a Forest "flop".

People adding 2 and 2 together to get 5 at the moment - blog post above says JRS thinks Charlton would be ideal if he goes out on loan but:

    1. Palace have to decide to loan him instead of cashing in and let’s face it he still isn’t getting near their first team
    2. Palace then have to decide Charlton is the best place for their player / will give their club the most return
    3. Charlton & Nathan Jones have to decide they want him and he will be a net positive addition
As above, I don't ever think JRS is realistic when we're competing against sides willing to pay eight figures for him.

That source for Dennis has as much credibility as Matt Southall and Chris Farnell put together

I’ve never forgiven Dennis for getting sent off in a FPL double gameweek as my captain when he was at Watford.

Dennis was highly rated a few years back but wages would definitely be a stumbling block.  Highly unlikely.

    JRS was always unlikely

Fukuda seems a Charlton player - under the radar, high potential and a new market for us to tap into.  We have someone within the club who is well informed on Japanese football so I dare say we’ve been looking for while.  Still strikes me as the most realistic of the recent rumours
    Hopefully that’s a hint on Fukuda…

Interesting someone at the club has knowledge of Japanese football. Wonder what other countries that could also be the case for.

That's not the kind of talk you need when taking her up the Oxo tower

Not a hint.  There was a Japanese striker I suggested last season and CM sent it off to our contact over there.  They are involved one of the investors I believe

The key words being "according to FLW". I'm going to want much more reliable sourcing than that before I take this particularly seriously.

I want to send players to the club to scout/buy. What's the process?!

A 23 year old RB from a L2 side you say? Considering how our last one turned out don’t need to hear anything else sign him up

In FLW speak "according to FLW" should read "our three random clubs from the office lucky dip are..."

I had a good relationship with Charlie Methven so he was my contact point most recently.  Prior to that I had a good relationship with Steve Gallen so went straight to him.
I haven’t yet got to meet Phil Chapple (since his return) or Calvin Charlton to start building a relationship with them but I should catch up with them this season.

The club are now much more of a closed shop under Nathan so I might be shit out of luck

Thought about taking her to the OXo Tower, but settled on McDonalds in Powis Street in Woolwich, as I took the first Mrs ISSP there on the day it opened in 1974. I’m an old romantic at heart.

    This tells me one thing.
Don't get friendly with Swisdom cause you'll be out the door.  😉
