Interesting. Clearly a very good player but doesn’t feel like the usual Jones type player. Wonder if we are looking at him as a wing back or midfielder

Could see him playing in midfield for us.
Possibly in the 10. But I’m not sure he is strong and scrappy enough to be in the Docherty role for us in the championship. Jones is going to want someone in there that is strong and wins duels rather than a very technically gifted player like Galbraith
I think wing back is more likely, could work quite well with him drifting into midfield to create an overload and then allowing Ramsay/Offiah space to overlap. Different to having Small out there but Galbraith is undoubtedly a better player
Maybe the reason we weren’t willing to match what PNE were offering Small was because we have Galbraith as our number one target for that attacking RWB position - and didn’t want to make someone who might not be first team one of our highest earners.
Not sure how much Orient think they will be able to get for a player with less than a year on his contract, ultimately it depends what other teams are willing to pay for him - if that is £1.5m then that is what he is worth.
Orient fans in the quotes seem to think 1.3m is nowhere near enough. Responses include “that’s enough for his left leg”, “that’s not even half of what he’s worth” and “that’s such a disrespectful bid”.
If he wasn't going into the last year of his contract they'd have a point.
That’s the sort of signing that if it happens would change views on what we’re looking to achieve.
Very big if though.
The sort of signing in the RD years where “we were close but couldn’t get it over the line”, which was probably due to not offering realistic fees and wages.

The fact is he’s is a league one player. £1.3m is a lot for any league 1 club. He may be worth more in the grand scale of things but how long can any L1 side turn down that kind of money. They could do a lot of strengthening with that

Even with their new owners who are supposedly rather wealthy I don't see how you can turn down seven figures for a player in League 1 , that could fund them replacing Gailbraith and some of the loanees

I know he's key for them but I would be surprised if they got £2m with a year left. Think £1.5m with add ons could do it.
Unfortunately for them, he is.

Sky sports now reporting the Galbraith bid.
but championship football and he can stay in london must be a big pull surely🙏🏻🤞🏻
Year left on his contract but don't think Orient will be in a rush to sell, they can let is fragile on until the end of the windows.
