Not sure if this has already been said. But I think that although Kerman might not be totally ready to make the step up to the champ yet, being able to learn off Godden for a season or two could make him come good. He’s still young, and from what i’ve seen has a fairly similar play style and build to Godden.
Agree but herein lies the rub. We need a striker now. Do we have money enough to gamble on him coming good and not spend it where it’s needed right now or does Nathan Jones see him as ready. 🤷🏻♂️
Is there a better striker on the market who would be deemed ready, at a similar price range and age, who would also be willing to come to us on a perm?
