I'll be watching this on CATV today, even though I have access to SKY as well, I would rather pay the £10 and watch with Terry, Greg, and Brownie rather than join the circus glorifying and fawning over Bloody Wrexham that will be the norm on SKY. As long as we turn up and play as the way we all know we can, victory will be ours...

I'll have Sky's coverage on the TV but have Tel, Stubbers and Brownie on the laptop through the speakers (I've got a normal audio pass so always have their comms).
The level of confidence on this thread is unnatural, disturbing, immoral and just downright wrong. What the hell has got into everyone?
I'm happy to oblige with some pessimism if you like 😉.
We lack creativity. Only have one proper striker. Woe betide if we let in the first goal as our stats blah blah blah.
Will that do....🙂
You forgot to mention that if the results go in favour of Stockport, then they could be one promoted next week and we face Wrexham, Wycombe and Orient in the playoffs.
This has got a nightmare Saturday written all over it We lose/draw with Wrexham Scum win and results go for em and they’re on their way to the promised land via the play offs croydon geeks win against villa and head for another fa cup final appearance
I have been reading all the positive messages: my Charlton buddy who insisted we would finish top 6 back in early November when we were poor as well as the super positive words of Callum who has been the beacon of light in the dark dystopian world of Charlton's negative thoughts.
Now Oohaah has kicked my soapbox and I have taken a mighty fall and i feel lower than a Dachshund's testicles.
Clean sheet (if Jones is playing), 1 nil to the Addicks .............. From the Guardian:

League One: The mood music at the STōK Cae Ras – AKA the Racecourse Ground – this evening will be set by the outcome of Leyton Orient versus Wycombe, which kicks off five hours earlier at 12.30pm. So by the time Wrexham take to the field against Charlton, they’ll know exactly how they can earn promotion today, or at least how to stay in the box seat for the top two. Any dropped points by the Chair Boys today will gift Wrexham the chance to seal automatic promotion with a win.
The doomsday scenario for Phil Parkinson’s side is if Wycombe claim victory at Brisbane Road, thus piling the pressure on the Welsh club, who face an in-form Addicks team who have lost just two of their past 20 games and sit fourth. A Charlton win would blow the whole thing wide open again. And after manager Nathan Jones stoked the fire yesterday by using the word “circus” in relation to Wrexham and their Hollywood owners there’s no shortage of talking points for me as I head down the M56 and A55 later on. Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have cleared their diaries by all accounts and should be in situ. Looking forward to it.
I’m weirdly not even nervous. I’m starting to feel the confidence in this team that I felt back in 2019.
There are two potential outcomes in my mind:
1. we batter them like we did Wycombe 2. a narrow defeat or draw
We are pleased to just be here at this point, given the way things looked in December.
Bottom line is that I’m incredibly proud of the team NJ is building and the outcome of tomorrow’s match isn’t going to change that.
Feel that way about the whole season and promotion picture. Last time it felt like do or die for the clubs future, this time although I’ll obviously be absolutely gutted if we don’t, it won’t feel like the clubs future is in the balance if we don’t go up. It will still have been a good season and we will be in a great place to attack the top 2 next season and get over the line
It will be another season of failure if we do not go up.
IF Lloyd Jones is injured, Nathan J MUST play Mitchell. I hope that Nathan and Mitch have not fallen out and that there is another reason for Mitchell's recent exclusion .. McIntyre as said above will be bullied by Rodrigues/Fletcher/Palmer whoever plays up front for them
Well what a win the Wycombe game was. Just hope we haven't finished them off as I still think a Wycombe win will ruin the afternoon for those in red at the circus. No promotion, no Disney TV special, go to Lincoln and suffer. Think Monday might have depleted our squad to a limping team whoever turns out. 4-2 to Wrexham and lets enjoy that Stockport away end again.
So you want one of the teams above us to win?
That makes no sense at all.
A Charlton win will ruin Wrexham’s afternoon, and coupled with a Wycombe defeat is much better for us.
Think whoever scores first will win it 1-0 or, better still, 0-1. Think both sides will approach with caution. Not expecting a classic…but as another renowned poster often says “Just win games”….everything else outside our control.

This is the view that will be amplified from all the Charlton social media outlets and pubs so we desperately do need a plan to be stronger or at least as strong as CAFC have been since January as we can't take two steps forward and 3 steps back by August when the odds are still against us being promoted.
1st season in 5 we have made progress but unless we can keep the majority of our talented players and add to it we are still treading water.
We don't go up we lose at least two of our talented youngsters.
Dropped petrol head off at Charlton , saw the legend that is Headphones Norm waiting and got a warm tingle . the coach turned up 25 mins late to panic the loyal band ….. it’s a sign the last time he got the coach and it turned up late was Peterborough away and we all know what happened there zzzzzzz

It’s confidence but not arrogance. It may still be odds against us but the odds aren’t that long.
What the hell has got into everyone?
Just the ability to do simple maths, work out the odds, and hope.
Dobson (own goal), Godden, Jones
