Why Sunderland will not be wearing their home kit for Championship play-off final vs Sheffield Unitedlordromford said:

In both our finals against Sunderland we wore our home kit. In 2019 we finished above them but in 1998 they finished above us.
The EFL bases its play-off final kit decisions on the participating clubs’ finishing positions in the table. As United finished third to Sunderland’s fourth, they are seen as the home side.
Question is... Would we wear our Away kit if we were to face Stockport, given how we'd be the "away" team and never wear our red kit in that situation.

Cheers. Didn’t know that. I guess they changed the rules since 1998?ForeverAddickted said:

These two are going to be knackered by the final!!0
-
Orient got lucky with that Stockport break due to the iffy touch0
-
Co-Commentator. "Ithink the team going up to the Chamiomship is from this match, I really do"0
-
If we do end up playing Orient in the final, we need to target them from corners, they’re hopeless at defending them as we know very well5
-
Can't see stockport not winning this. Dangerous side1
-
Orient really need to mark Horsfall better!!0

Was unreal last game. Would love either him or Keillor-Dunn. Wouldn't complain if we got them bothCAFC_boi said:Ethan Galbraith has been incredible every time I’ve seen him play - Swansea had a £1m bid turned down for him in January, must be worth 3x that now4 -

Can’t blame Collymore too much… these two have served up two great games of attacking football. Us & Wycombe served up a steaming dog turd of a match.up_the_valley said:Co-Commentator. "Ithink the team going up to the Chamiomship is from this match, I really do"3 -
So, do we want an Orient win?0

Woah, Orient header by Kelman off the bar and cleared off the line1
-
Jesus that should be 0-2!! - If Orient get a two goal lead they may well hold on0
-
Probably, think Stockport are a better sideup_the_valley said:So, do we want an Orient win?0 -

Definitely rather play Stockport at Wembley, they don't have the X factor players that Orient seem to have0
-
Worth remembering that our game was partly so boring and uneventful because we f**king pulled Wycombe's pants down and gave them a strong pounding just a few weeks ago.
Even their players post-match acknowledged the 0-4 defeat, and wanted to avoid a repeat.
Wycombe had also lost three on the trot so needed to stop the "rot"7 -
We want Stockport so there is no risk we can't wear red. Or do we contractually required to wear yellow because Wembley is 'away'?1
