Slightly ironic that Sandgaard sacked Jacko due to wanting more "attractive" football, when in the same weekend Jacko has got Wimbledon promoted, and Jones has got Charlton promoted, both playing functional, controlled football, grinding out 1-0 wins and clean sheets.
Feel for Walsall, spent the whole season in the top three and imploded when they lost their loan player - Bit like us in 2019/20, can understand why Jones doesnt like relying on them

Even more galling that Stoke barely used Lowe after recalling him. A waste all round

I suppose the flip side is that without him they would have been nowhere near the promotion places.
If Stoke had waited another week to recall him, they might still have got automatic.
Did I just hear that right... Wimbledon are going up with the best defensive record? - I have to admit, I've hated this mega close up of the initial trophy lift, rather than an wide shot of the whole ground celebrating
Jus seen this result. Massive respect for JJ after he took time out to send my dad an 80th birthday video message during covid when we couldn't visit him.
Just got home and watched the Sheffield Utd v Sunderland match.
What struck me was that there were quite a few unused seats in the utd end. I wondered if they had the same issues we did, then deep into injury time,it was clear that around half of the seats at that end of the ground were empty.
Unbelievably poor support by them, don't deserve promotion.
Well done JJ fantastic result & well deserved, even during his breaking in season when results wasn’t going well, glad the AFC board backed him rather than sacked him…believed in himself & boy has it paid off, will always be a Cafc ledge
For anyone wanting a further fix of playoff games - the final places for next season's Scottish & German top flights have their playoff second legs tonight, both are into their second halves, both on Sky.

So pleased for JJ who took Cafc from 22nd to about 13th which was that team's ceiling and then got sacked.
Bravo Johnny Jackson for getting back to League 1 .👏🏼
Shame we didn’t stay down for a local game 😂😂😂
But, what a weekend for South London.
I know a few Charlton fans who watch AFC Wimbledon and vice-versa, so this is a great weekend for us.

So chuffed for him. Well done AFC.

Well done Sunderland.
I like Sunderland after 98 and 2019, and so pleased for JJ.
Sunderland vs Newcastle
Blades vs Wednesday
Pompey vs Southampton
Norwich vs Ipswich
should be good
A true masterclass in blowing it
