Great to see the academy guys playing yesterday...... if they all come through as well or better than Miles, TC, Karoy & AMB then wow!!
AMB didn't have much to do but what he did he did well considering he's been out for a while...... pleased to see TC was at it a bit more yesterday....... and like others thought Karoy looks at his most comfortable in a deeper role.

    Thought Gilbert played really well
I agree. There's an expression "In the land of the blind the one eyed man is King".
He stood out for me, why hasn't he been used since Orient game? (other than afew minutes).

He has it over Berry for me.

First time I've seen Kai Enslin "live". Looks a classy player. Seems to have a calmness and the ability to make time. Can see him progressing very well.

That Mitchell back pass, I've seen Charlton players trap a ball further than that! But he recovered and is obviously more comfortable in the middle of a three. Probably, not growing up in an academy, he didn't play much as a full back,so doesn't know the nuances of covering accross.

I don't know the quality of the coaches at New Windsor Kestrels but Alex Mitchell joined Millwall at 17 and has had 6 years of Professional coaching so I don't understand where a poor attempt at a back pass has anything to do with not joining an academy earlier 🤔

Campbell is a major concern heading into the play offs his performances over the last 4 games have been very below par ….
Wondered when you'd pipe up with another load of drivel.
He was invisible v Wycombe and Wrexham and yesterday he looked way of the pace and very lightweight , it’s a concern
I'm not knocking the comment about Wrexham Ronnie, I don't think that was the case against a physical Wycombe side, but remember, against Wrexham and Burton we were missing Thierry Small and that places a great weight on Tyreece's shoulders to consistently deliver from the left side without the option on the right. Also take into account Tyreece's age and experience.

He made the mistake of trying to pass back with enough pace using his weaker left foot, in fairness, if he tried to put it into touch he probably would heard the Valley creak with groans. Mitchell has played on the right side of the three when he was playing with Lloyd Jones in the middle, perhaps like a lot of us his left foot is just for standing on, glad he scored though, as he has missed a few opportunities through this season.

It was his right foot...no, it was just a very poor lazy back pass attempt, but he took his chance well, but what a peach of a cross from Coventry...👌

If we have everyone back the the subs  will surely be Gilbert, probably Mitchell and Watson, but which strikers will he choose, Chucks probably, but who else?
    No Chuks til second leg

I was in the lower W, A block, so it was on the opposite side where the melee occured, so what made Watson lose his rage ? For those watching on TV, in the AC stand or anyone with a clear view.
I sit at the rear of AC stand, opposite our dug-out and it seemed to me that apart from being fouled, the Burton player wrapped his legs around Watson, to prevent him from getting back up, but not see a replay of it yet, so I could be wrong.

In reply to someone else's comment that he was lucky not to receive a red card for hands to face, from what I saw, it was a push to the chest and (maybe) grabbing of the shirt. Absolutely nothing worthy of a red card and thought the yellow was a bit harsh, although as soon as it became a melee, there was no way the ref wasn't going to book both parties for their part in it.

Are we seeing Nathan’s policy of having a small squad so the development players can train with the 1st team bearing fruit?
They all fitted in seamlessly and knew their roles.
    Very impressive.

A very professional performance and overrall a decent season compared to last.

I'd love the promotion for the cherry on top, but at least we aren't a joke in this league anymore.

Playing Wycombe as expected, and that's arguably the easiest game in the play-offs left based on form. Quietly confident we can get to Wembley, then hopefully the football God's are with us.

Roll on the play-offs, see you all in Wycombe 👍🏻
I still remember when I asked to you by YouTube about Nathan Jhones when he signed for Charlton, you said he was a great manager and probably he’d reach great ranking on this season.
you were right mate congratulations. This has been a very good season, I think we can be proud of this Club Now. I wish we get promotion to championship and I find a Pub in Madrid which broadcast Charlton games at last!!
    Saludos desde Madrid!! 😎 ☀️

Read my post again. The academy comment was about him not playing FB because he was already quite tall for a kid and didn't get RB exposure , hence his naivety at RCB. Even at 17 his main sport was rowing.

Something wrong with the PA yesterday? It was deafening pre-match.

Always nice to get back and see the old place, visited my Dad’s spot in the garden of remembrance too, sang RRR for him.
great performance at a canter really, hope it means the team are simmering nicely for the playoffs.

A guy on the International Addicks WhatsApp, whom I don't know, but  seems pretty solid, says he was at the match and sat with Thierry Small on the train back, and TS told him that he, Jones and Berry will all be fit for next weekend.

Feels like the stars are aligning for us, doesn't it?
Fantastic but NJ won't like that being in the public domain if true 😬
I reckon NJ told Thierry to travel by public transport and spread rumours, knowing it will probably end up here, Wycombe will be spying on our forum, and now they don't know what our likely line-up is.

The Burton player cleaned him out, quite unnecessarily given the score, how late in the game it was, how little Burton had riding on the game, and how important it is that our players are fit for three more games.

You mean the left foot that's attached to his right leg and is normally called his right foot?
