Thanks for your email.
Games only eligible for live video streaming will be available to watch
Live audio commentary, match highlights and exclusive club content are available.
It will be available for audio in the UKSo I take that to mean if you are in the right country stream is available.BTW this site is a nightmare on a mobile phone for formatting
- is there a match pass or not? (Wycombe are selling them) Are those of us with annual passes automatically getting this as part of their deal?
- if you read that word salad carefully, you may not be 100% sure that it means what you think it means. It probably does, but could mean that this is not "eligible" because playoffs don't count as part of the standard package.0 -

The EFL website is claiming that their "international partner" Sport TV is covering all the play-offs, see the screen grab below...
But this is horseshit, Sport TV's programme guide is clearly advertising only the Championship play-offs, which is absolutely no surprise at all.
So Charlton TV will be geoblocked and we will not be able to see it through the "international partner" either.
I have e-mailed the following to the EFL:Dear Sir or Madam,
Your website is showing that Sport TV is broadcasting all the play-off semi-finals in Portugal. This is not true, Sport TV’s TV guide reveals that only the Championship matches are being show, which is exactly what I expected.

With this in mind, the blackout on Charlton TV in Portugal is meaningless, so will you be granting Charlton TV the right to show it in my region?
I expect the usual waffle in response...
Here's the screen grab:

One of the problems is that a lot of these "partners buy the rights as "filler". If some other sport event in their schedule is cancelled at the last minute - maybe weather - they can stick a League One game on.1 -
Not sure why to go for the weekend, Italy, Spain, Malta, Belgium or Luxembourg:)1

Has anyone been able to purchase a Charlton TV match pass yet I thought they were supposed to be up this morning

I tried to buy it for my son who is genuinely in Laos. I have tried to get it from Italy, Germany and Laos using my VPN but it isn't showing yet. Maybe later.1

This has been available for a long time. No idea why we can't do this.

I've emailed Tom Rubashow about the match pass. I understand he was the one who kicked the EFL's arses on Monday about non-broadcasts so hopefully he's the right one to fix this
EDIT: and he has replied within about 30 seconds.👏
"I’ve highlighted to the team who are looking into it."

I just bought a Charlton tv. Monthly pass which should cover it ? Also in an unrelated topic I have got a Nord VPN.

Monthly pass £35 which for three games (we’re going to Wembley) seems reasonable.1

Update from Tom:
"i’ve been told the pass can be seen as available in now and has been tested in Poland. Can you let me know if you can’t access in your region?"
What do we all see now?

They put the one match passes up today, I got the monthly yesterday, so will be back in the UK by then for Wembley.1

Logged in and from “Luxembourg” with the monthly CharltonTv package. But I wouldn’t expect anything yet?0

I can see a single match offer now
Which annoyingly appears to be cheaper per match than my monthly pass I just bought but only a little cheaper (30 v 35) I can forgive this if we win at wbleyt

Keep the reports coming re the single match pass and also if you are geo-blocked but the rights-holder is not broadcasting the game

Ridiculous that Tom Rubashow (and you Prague) has had to go to all this trouble to get the chuffin' EFL to do their job properly.2

For those that are interested, my exchanges with the EFL:

PortugalHello Perry
Thank you for your e-mail, we appreciate you getting in touch.
Whilst our overseas broadcast partners may have the rights to show all Play-Off matches for all three divisions, it remains at the discretion of the broadcaster as to which matches they choose to schedule for live viewing. Therefore, these matches cannot be shown via Club streaming platforms and we can only recommend you contact the broadcaster directly should you wish to raise any concerns with their scheduling.
Thank you for contacting the EFL.
Kind Regards
DannyHello Danny,
Not good enough I am afraid, shows the contempt some at the EFL have for the supporters of the clubs. Passing the buck is pretty shameful too. Sport TV show about five Football League games a season (four of which are the Championship Play Offs), the EFL can afford to not have that revenue and not inconvenience thousands of supporters who pay member clubs for streaming services.
As it happens, one of your colleagues did sort it out, thanks to the efforts of Charlton Head of Communications, Tom Rubashow. All was needed was a bit of effort.
Best Regards
Perry Bartlett
