I can't shake this gut feeling that we're going to lose. On paper we should win though.
    This.

Too many people thinking that because we are home all we have to do is turn up, score a goal & we'll be at Wembley on the 25th.

I fear that Wycombe are just waiting to spark into life. Their front 3 give me the heebie jeebies and I just think our excellent home form is going to desert us in the final match.

I hope I'm l wrong.....I really do, but I'm going for an away win.

    1-3.
The front 3 that had 1 shot on target all game...

Ok does anyone know our screen operator? Please ask them to sort a penalty graphic so we can keep up (was there one for Brighton? Was there but forget).
  • Not sure about the LOLs and Likes for folks suggesting we stuff it up. Perhaps there’s an ironic filter missing from my settings.

Nervous about tomorrow but still confident the team is strong enough (mentally and physically) to get the result we need.

Amazing video. Always there and proper fans who deserve recognition.

The hassle of bringing the drum around and playing to try and create an atmosphere, glad the club has made them part of something special.

I always think of Scunthorpe away with those two when I think the stewards were being really odd about them bringing the drums in.

That's more like it from the club 👍🏻

we’re about to find out. I do wonder if the exersion might show at some point

Not feeling as nervous as I thought I would this morning or before the first leg either. Compared to 2019 I was feeling it a lot more, proper tense the whole season!

I partly think this is down to what a shit show we were off the pitch in 2019 and everything, our whole existence as a club felt like it was riding on us getting promoted. It was such a mess off the pitch we needed that promotion to keep the club alive.
This time round, we seem more stable off the pitch (touch wood), so it’s not all doom and gloom and even if we don’t get promoted I still feel we have a future, only reason I can think I why I’m not so nervous.

Either way, it’s a huge game tonight and a win will bring us 1 step closer to giving this club a huge shot in the arm and a new lease of life.

Looking forward to experiencing a vibrant and extremely loud Valley tonight.  My boys were 6 and 8 in 2019 so did not understand the context as well as now, but they still talk about that Donny semi final and our day at Wembley.
Hopefully one more memory to be made after today.

Moments like today, that only come round once or twice a decade (if we are lucky), make me think of time that has passed since the last.  What has changed in our lives and those we have lost that would have loved to be there.

Enjoy these moments, it’s not just a normal day.  It’s a day Charlton book their place at Wembley.

I felt pretty calm about things tbh but now I'm sat at work, counting down the time till I can leave...the nerves are slowly setting in.

I didnt see much from Leyton Orient to say that, if we get there, we cant beat them!

Suppose if we are not going to be successful in the play offs rather lose tonight and not at Wembley ….
It's impossible to know that though. Don't understand those going into tonight with that mindset.

Doh! Just realised who I wasted a reply on.

I'm sure this has been asked and answered a thousand times............ In the event of a draw, are away goals not a thing anymore?

    Are you ready to rock?
Are you ready to hit the floor?
    Are you ready now?
Cause if you're ready, I'm ready!

You'd hope whoever the ref is tonight has seen the first leg and will be aware of the dog shit Wycombe serve up as football

If we don't do it tonight rather have not made the playoffs or got relegated.

If they don’t do it tonight, they might as well all give up as professional football players and become milkmen.
