Well I've been in the office about 5 hours now and all I've accomplished is feeling a bit sick and necking 4 coffees.

I'm going to text my old man again now and thank him for the life sentence he gave me being a Charlton fan

My Son isn’t with me today, might be a nightmare getting home later on C2C and 8 years old it’s too much with school tomorrow.
Not been this excited since Wembley, I’ve already left Essex and just arrived in Greenwich. Seriously going to be a long 8 hours waiting for kick off  :D

Whoever dreamed up the idea of drummers film....well done and thank you ! It's brilliantly executed and great to see the CAFC comms team are back on track after the last film with the Arsenal influencer, enough said !
Beautifully shot and the drone footage of the Valley at twilight is magical, whoever edited it got it spot on. SKY Sports should show it tonight as part of their pre-match build up.

Be careful with those coffees, packed Valley and poor toilet facilities is an accident waiting to happen!

My boy is coming with me tonight, similar age to yours, he's already proudly told his teacher he's going to a "midnight match" tonight... !!

I have just joined a board meeting with 8 investors on it, wearing my Charlton shirt, with my bowels feeling like they are made of jelly. And never heard a word anybody said.

    Shitting it.

That’s great, wish mine was with me now in the pub. Your Son will remember that for years.
I’ve had two pissed up groups causing problems on the late trains home from the City in the last year, not risking it with the little one.
Hopefully he’ll enjoy Wembley, fingers crossed.

If we win tonight are we having a pitch invasion or not , I’m sure Sky like to have their little panel on the pitch doing the after match waffle .
We had one after Donny but not after Ipswich (I don’t think)

Suppose if we are not going to be successful in the play offs rather lose tonight and not at Wembley ….
If we don't do it tonight rather have not made the playoffs or got relegated.
If they don’t do it tonight, they might as well all give up as professional football players and become milkmen.
If we lose tonight, will you sing us a sad song?

When was the last time we "sold out"? does anyone know.
Should impress the owners, does anyone know if they will be over to see a full Valley?. They may decide to tell Roland to go "Boil his head and build us a "new" Super Valley somewhere instead.
He'd probably still make us pay the bill for this
im willing to stump up for his leccy.

Yeah, you made the right call mate, that's a long journey post-match and asking a lot. Luckily I'm on a Valley Express route, so post match we're in the coach 2 minutes from the ground. Quickly into the coach toilet, change into jimjams and that's him sorted - bed-ready and sleeping all the way home (hopefully!).

Finger's crossed both our boys have an event to remember in a few weeks.

    Spoiler Alert:

Tonights match could be the biggest Anti climax since I found out Santa claus was a hoax and the tooth fairy was a lie.

I was gutted when my parents sat me down and said  it was fake news and they bought the presents and put money under my pillow.

What a shocking deception to find this out when you're 14.

Normally I would be going to this as I've been to every playoff game since Ipswich 98. Due to personal reasons I didn't go to Wycombe and I won't be going tonight either. I feel so nervous this time around especially after the performance in the first leg. Hopefully be able to watch it later on some moody stream as I don't think I could handle listening to it on the radio.

For God's sake no-one tell him about the Easter Bunny, I don't think he's ready for that

So nervous for this. Wembley is in sight. As always, first goal is crucial and I just hope it is us. Have such a bad feeling with all the hype that our season ends tonight. The lack of a red card to Kone could be so crucial. Kone double, 2-0 Wycombe, cannot wait to be proved wrong.

25,185 is the Stripey Nigel's highest attendance this season in the PL. Nice to have easily beaten that.

PS it would be really appreciated if you can do it without any drama

What the crowd tonight must NOT do is wind the players up by demanding too much too soon

    This 1000 times.

Tonight has to be about backing them through ups and downs. Regardless.

No negativity. Save that for the league games

Wasn't nervous in the first leg but I am now. I really hope the team show up tonight
