    Stand sponsorship, that was a thing, as a nipper I knew who Fads were but not Marmens, still not sure!

    Mate of mine told me that Scarboroughs ground was renamed the Mccain Stadium the Theatre of Chips.
    And look where Scarborough are now!

    I'm thinking about giving up with football if it continues down this route and get in to F1.
     F1 was probably the first sport to take on  major sponsorship so you could argue they are partially to blame,

    Wrigley Field in Chicago beats F1 by several decades.
