    To be fair Len, Nick Leeson was merely a mid-level offshore trader who cooked the books disastrously and his superiors never found out until it was too late.

    Fred Goodwin was running the bloody place!

    Nick Leeson did not have a clue what he was doing and made no money out of his incompetance, save his book and a few speeches. He was just a wannabe trader.
    Goodwin made loads of money and still has a £300k per year pension for the rest of his life.
