Hard times ahead looking after 3 babies on my own:-((((!

Doesn't he live in SW London?

Can't be a much longer drive to Swindon than it is to SE9

I wouldn't fancy it at rush hour.
He lives in Ashford in kent i believe. Him and Waggy card shared last year.
    Happy Birthday

really? I am surprised as I would say we are quite short on central midfielders even with Jonsson.

If this is true im guessing danny instigated the move as he wanted first team football.

I am guessing to get away from a house of screaming females

Do footballers travel in rush hour?
Well I thought training starts at about 9 doesnt it? Same time about 90% of the country start work I think.

Either way, you know what these wags are like. If he'd gone on loan to Millwall he could probably get away with telling her it was a suburb of Newcastle, and then bag himself half the week in a holiday inn with sky movies and a playstation and 3 less screaming 1 year olds.

He was great for us last season - I hope he gets his excrement together and comes back and fights for a place in the team...good luck Danny.

  • Good luck Danny - certainly get to Swindon quicker than SE9 if you move back to the Sunbury area

Bit surprising, not convinced he's good enough at this level, especially alongside Stephens.

Danny has been the player who has disappointed me the most this season, really surprised he hasn't stepped up to this level

To be fair to him he didn't have a proper preseason and I think it really shows.

    Shouldn't someone tell Richard Cawley @SLP ......?

He may want to include it as an 'Exclusive' on Friday.

I thought this was going to be a joke when I saw the thread title and it was going to be a different Hollands.

    Surprised.

Why? He needs game time to get match fit
  • I'd rather of kept him as back up. But still him getting game time is good and he may come back to us sharp and fully fit.

A half fit Hollands is better than Wilson and Pritchard (although he has played better lately

I expect him to sign for Swindon in January.

Never one to slate a player and will always support them when they play but I've never been massively impressed with him. Think he goes missing too often and doesn't bring too much to the team. His best run for Charlton was playing alongside Hughes when he scored a few goals. Good luck to him at Swindon though hope he does well and makes me eat my words.

One of my favourite players from last season. For me he embodied the old Charlton coming back that year. Big fan of his but he hasn't been at the races this season and I think the step up combined with not having a pre-season has cost him his touch and knocked his confidence a bit. Hopefully playing at the top of L1 for a while will see him come back to us more like the player we know. Still, no-one's going to tell me that being sent to Swindon isn't a punishment, Get chills just thinking about it..

I strongly disagree. A fully fit Hollands is better than a fully fit Pritchard (if he's not paired with Hollands IMO. And you can't compare a CM to a RB/RM.
  • done a decent shift for us last year but looked a bit slow motion to me this season

Hopefully just a fitness/confidence booster and he comes back in January in the same sort of consistent form from last year.
