Pitch playable for Millers visit
After a clear night, our groundsman Clive Pring has once again reaffirmed that this afternoon's fixture against Rotherham will go ahead.
A number of matches in local Saturday and Sunday leagues have been called off across Devon due to the recent wet weather.
However the St James' Park pitch and its state-of-the-art drainage system remain clear of water. The rainwater drains from the pitch quickly, meaning that the water does not remain on the playing surface and therefore preventing any waterlogging.
