    We will win 3-1

Kerkar will be at left back again, hopefully Kermo or Haynes ahead of Hulse for me

Dont understand how you thought Green was ineffective?? when he came on he took on a few players, put in a good ball and one which was in the danger zone. I agree he probably isnt a starter but to say he was ineffective is a bit blinded In my opinion

Couldn't agree more. It took 12 minutes for anyone to pass to Green on Saturday. When he did get it he looked lethal. He can't defend but that's like beating up your dog cos it can't play the piano. Its just not his game. Also agree that someone other than Hulse should lead the attach. I know I'm out on a limb with this one but Hulse just doesn't do it for me.

Agree with both there :) great minds... Especially Hulse, although he has done well and got a goal just he is way too slow for this division. Fuller>Haynes>Kermo>BWP>Hulse is order i would put them and any 2 can play together as they all have good team games

Thought about giving Joey Barton a call? He could do with learning some French.

I can handle French into English but would struggle with obscure languages such as Scouse and Manc :-)

He (Green) can't defend but that's like beating up your dog cos it can't play the piano.

    lol

  • Well, despite i like Yann very much i think some of the comments have been unfair on Hulse. Our resurgence coincided (just a coincidence ?) with his presence in the team. He's not as skilful as Fuller or the same Yann or pacey as Haynes, but he works harder than most, holds the ball and his physical presence unsettle defenders. I see Hulsey playing in the first 60 mins and when defences becomes tired get him out and bring on more PACE and SKILL.

we'll go behind early and it'll stay like that until half time.

during the half time break, lots of punters will try to buy pies but there won't be any. it will also be announced at h/t that the takeover of CAFC by the country of Sweden or Turkey or Russia is complete.

the boys will come back out raring to go following the news about the pies but we fall further behind to an OG. we pull 1 back with 10 left but the game has to be abandoned when an aircraft full of pies sheds its load from 35,000 feet on to the playing surface narrowly missing all the players. Solly picks up a meat & potato pie as he's walking off and eats it cold.
  • Can't get our if work for it tonight so I'm hoping foe a slightly boring and too efficient 4-0 win....

I've gone down with some sort of flu thing so will not be there tonight.

Hopefully sods law will kick in and I'll rue missing a comfortable victory.

I'd happily take that for the team.

I see today Huddersfield appealed last Saturday's red card - and lost.

Somebody tell them that they're not Man Utd. What did they expect?

  • Can only see a disappointing 1-1 draw from this one. Playing a team we should easily beat and taking into account our poor home form. Hope I am wrong!!
  • we have played rubbish when it's been raining this season (Hull, Hudders) so expecting a draw or loss now!

To be fair Hulse loan must be finished soon and as everyone is now coming back to fitness I would think he will be sent back to QPR.

  • Ah that is true. Shame, he's done well here.

Not too sure about Jackson being in instead of Stephens but Powell wouldn't ever drop him

Loan finishes 1st January, I believe.

I wouldn't be surprised if Powell tries to keep him.
  • I think that's very harsh on Hulse, he deserved to keep his place. Would rather see Green on the right than a centre mid.

Totally agree with you. But i think he's just resting him. He played many matches in the space of a few weeks... more than he played in the last two years i think !!!
