Bad news for Wiggins but please SCP, can we not try to solve this one by shifting players out of position? Pretty please!
  • Adam Smith on loan?

Evina definitely deserves his chance. Gutted for Wiggins though.

gutted for Rhoys, top player hope he recovers soon. Good luck Evina or Fox they performed well at u18s, reserves and U21's level and surely this is why clubs have academies to develop players through to the 1st team.

Evina's not our academy player and Fox is nowhere near close to the first team though!

Anyway, as I said before it will be Evina with JJ ajead of him, and there is no point in bringing in a non-entity like Borrowdale imo

Borrowdale did a reasonable job for us in division 3 but I don't think he is a division 2 player.

well it is a game of opinions and I actually said they performed as in past tense, they are both now listed as 1st team players on club website so I'm sure coaches managers will make right decision
  • Any more news onto when he will be back, as said on other threads think we need him back ASAP give us more dimension down that left flank.
  • Drag him out of his hospital bed, give him a shot of cortisone and a double whiskey and shove him onto the pitch!

    ....or a cold shower ;0)
  • I am getting a little concerned that Rhoys has not reappeared in the team. He was expected back before Yann and was on player a couple of weeks back saying he was back running.

Would have thought he would be back training by now, but is not I hear in the Development squad for tonights game at Colchester?

Has anyone got an update - there has been nothing recent on the OS or in press interviews? Seabourne's loan was until the 8th December and I reckon Powell banked on having Rhoys back before then. Before coming to us he was injury prone:( Worried

Bloody hell is Seabourne going back already? I'll be very sorry to see him go as it happens. Thought he put in a very good shift after some of the comments about him not being good enough for us.

Yann is not human, he would have been back quicker than Rhoys if he had broken his spine. He'll be back, hopefully very soon, and show us how much we've missed him.

I think we have to put in context that Yann came back at least 2 weeks before schedule, according to CP.

Seabourne's initial loan expires 8th December. As the loan window is now shut, CP won't allow himself to be shorthanded at LB over Xmas - I expect Seabourne's loan to be extended regardless of whether Wiggins is ready or not.

I'm sure Seabourne will be extended ,Saints wanted him to get a run of games and remember he was out for nearly a year after the night club stabbing. However, unlike Hulse he is in Saints 25 man squad so could potentially play if there was an injury crisis. After the 8th December they can insert a 24 hour recall clause.

    That's a good point, Richard.

I didn't realise Seabourne was named in Saints' 25-man Prem squad.

Evina said on his twitter that he is out running and expects to be in full training on Thursday/Friday, might mean he is back for Bolton?

Probably on the bench if at all, I would think. He is not Kermorgant or Wiggins level quality where simply being fit enough to run would make you first choice.

Maybe Cedric Evina could give left half / midfield a go.

Does anyone know When Wiggy is likely to be back. Been very quiet. I rate him very highly and see him as a massive boost to us.
  • Worried at the silence as stated last week. I fear an incorrect diagnosis or set back has occurred

Didn't someone say a few weeks back he was seen limping. Won't see him until 2013 imo
  • I saw him at the BP at Mottingham and he was walking with a very noticeable limp...

Heard tonight he's had a real bad setback on his road to recovery - could be another two months.

We need a left back in January for sure if this is the case.
