    Really?

Vile little club run by a vile little man.

I can understand why a Charlton fan might think that given what he has been reported as saying in the past.

However I've actually met him and I take as I find.

In another life I helped organise a school fete and it was thought a good idea to get the local football club along. I suggested Charlton but got outvoted:-) Paul Scally came with another player, Darren Freeman, and they both fully entered into the spirit of the day bringing merchandise and generally joining in and encouraging the children to participate in the various activities too.

He came across to me as a decent family man.

My brother is a Gills fan. Used to go and watch them with him ocassionally (on the condition he came to Charlton).

No feelings either way for the pikeys. I did predict this would happen when they appointed Mad dog, as my brother wasn't too impressed with the choice of manager.

    Congrats Gills.
  • Gillingham in football are like New Zealand in cricket, they stir complete indifference amongst most people.

Congratulations. I just can't find it in me to hate them. Never ever have been our rivals in any sense.

    Agreed. Good luck to them.

They started a football club where the Valley Express picks up our supporters?
