    Some interesting comments on that millwall forum such as;

He holds it up well but his touch is shocking
    makes sence...

    naaat.

Some players can shield the ball well and retain possession, but often have difficulty doing it without having to make a pigs ear of it on the first touch.

    Jason Euell springs to mind.

Jason's second touch was a tackle.

Apparently Chris Wood has been "pants" at Leicester as well, even though he has scored 6 in 12 games.

I wouldn't say he's been 'pants' but 5 of those goals did come in his first 2 games
The argument Leicester fans make is that, since he came in, they've been lumping it up to him (perhaps similar to what happened when Yann replaced Hayes last season), when they have quality players to pass their way through teams.

Hulse's problem was scoring goals - he missed a few simple chances for us, and clearly hasn't improved his finishing. As a hold-up player there are few better in the Championship, but you need a poacher alongside him.

Makes me even happier that we have Yann :-)
  • Lets hope he takes the hint and leaves. They will be worse without him.

Leicester have been pants - not just wood.

Problem is, Wigan are (probably) more worried about survival.

He is a 'marmite' kind of player .. & we all know what that means

According to the Evening Standard Jackett is worried about survival too; must say I can't see why to be honest.

    There must be crapper teams.

More than 4 hours after the link was posted on here, the 'Hulse Out' petition has reached a total of, erm ......... 25 signatures.

That's about the same number of Millwall that went to Barnsley.

If Wigan dont beat them by at least 3 then there is something wrong with this world.

no less than 5 just to rub it in.

At least one thing you know is that Wigan wont be playing hoofball to Shittu.

I have to agree with a lot of that because I thought he was rubbish.

But then again Mike you said the Blades would come good last season.........Oops :0)
I thought he did a good job for us especially in the away games.

Fair point but Euell is a bad example.
He was never deployed as a lone striker for us simply to hold up play?
He got goals & assists from CAM or in a striker pairng.

  • I'd have him back next year, good competition up top.

#millwall have allowed Hulse to return to #qpr. Crowd's reaction on Tuesday left player + club in impossible situation. Told KJ v. unhappy.

I was listening to the commentary on radio 5 on tuesdsay night and Hulse was boo-ed when he was subbed - Claridge was scathing of kenny Jackett's subs and said Millwall were woeful up front.
  • Despicable treatment of a player who I felt was half decent and a hard worker.

    Shame on the Spanners !
