Mourinho could fit in at United, but he likes mature players, and his legacy is not always self-sustaining. The wage bill goes up, but the future costs a lot of money to re-invigorate his teams after he leaves. Still he would be an atrocious choice at Chelsea as their whole acquisition policy is the antithesis of the style of player Mourinho likes.
Moyes may be the darling of the British press, but bar his first few years he has positioned his club exactly where they lie in the wage league. He over spends, they pay higher wages than clubs above them for similar players, and his European record is woeful. His teams have been a graveyard for strikers, although conversely his defensive solidity will probably win a league against Mancini's CIty, again I can't see him creating a legacy or continued success.
I have no idea on the future success of Jurgen Klopp, but as a football fan I'd want to see his teams. Hopefully the few English United players might learn some simple strategic ideas, like not matching your sluggish defensive players against Ozil during corner time.0 -

Sir Alex has built great Mam United team after great Man United team. He lost Cantona but built a great team after that. He lost Becks and built a great team after that. He lost Christiano and built a great after that. But I think by far his best side was the 1999 team. That team was just absolutely phenomenal. He was also helped with lots of loyalty from the likes of Giggs, Scholes and Gary Neville for so many years. Those players were real main stays in United's teams that helped carry over the baton from one generation to the next.
I remember I was at home when we didn't have a game when that team went to Notts Forest and United were 4-1 up and both Yorke and Cole had got two goals a peice and I was tryig to predict who would get a hat-trick first. But Sir Alex then brings on Solskjaer and he gets 4 goals an United win 8-1. That is just the mark of Sir Alex. Most teams can only dream of having that fire power.
Love Sir Alex or hate Sir Alex, he is certainlly the greatest manager of my life time.0 -

I was born in 1992, six years after he took over. It's strange, Alex Ferguson is Man Utd in my mind... just as Wenger is Arsenal.0
