Former Crystal Palace striker Mark Bright on Radio 5 live
"If that ball drops to Phillips in the six-yard box, the very least he will make the goalkeeper work. I've seen his finishing in training and he is superb."

Haha, like he's some rookie out the academy. Cheers Brighty, we're all quite aware of Kevin Phillips and his finishing ability !

Thought Bridcutt was quality, very well deserved MOTM.

I was frustrated with Brightons performance in the 2nd half. They found it hard to string one or 2 passes togather and they were very slow going forward. Maybe they were after a draw?

Brighton won 11/23 home games this season. Palace lost 10/23 away games this season. Including a 3-0 at the Amex. Brighton are favourites, especially with Murray and Williams out....

Seemed like the easiest £100 I've ever won. That had 0-0 written all over. Will do the same bet in the return leg too.

Orlandi injured, Brighton kick it off. The palace player deliberately threw the ball down the touchline and out for a throw.

Ulloa gave Bolasie an earful for it afterwards.

Zaha's last act was to give a Brighton player a man of the match reward than fist pump with a man dressed as an eagle.

How the hell did Palace get the double over us? They are awful.

We played them at the two worst times in our season, that's all I can think of. At first when we started to struggle with the step-up and then during January-February when we couldn't hold leads to save our lives.

To be fair when Zaha, Bolasie and Murray were on fire they had probably the best forward line in the division. Since the Zaha sale he's looked disinterested, Bolasie whilst still good seems self indulgent and I'm not sure Murrays hitting the back of the net as regularly.

I was disappointed with Brighton Apart from Bridcutt who was excellent throughout and Bridge who had the best 45 mins I've seen him play in a long time in the first 45. Is CMS out for the rest of the season ?

A good goalscorer always makes a poor team look better than they actually are.

At the risk of upsetting the 'This' police... I have to agree totally with this.
