    I listened to this interview at the time and when Des Kelly asked him to justify the private jet he said he's been traveling that way for years to Leeds matches and it was put in the current contract he has at the request of the new owners oh and he doesn't have to justify why he travels that way.

    Ken Bates commits Leeds to a three-year deal in which they pay for a private jet to ferry him to and from games, probably costing at least (factoring in 50 trips over three years) at LEAST 1 million quid, seeing as a private jet return is probably going to cost about 30K every return trip.

    This from the bloke who sacked the catering staff for buying wine for the 'Prawn Sandwich' corporate boxes that was too pricey at 10 quid a bottle!
