Holmes - Dennis is more experienced. Funnily enough they are both converted midfield players.

Interesting... they should definitely know how to pass the ball about then?
  • I think Edwards will end up back in midfield

I think Edwards will end up back in midfield

That would surprise me. He looks a natural full-back to me. I can't remember ever seeing such positional sense in such a young player. Holmes-Dennis was described in the OS as a full-back by trade, which surprised me because he was very good in midfield.

  • i think he has too much ability on the ball to be wasted in defence

I just want to see Edwardes and Gomez sign pro contracts so that Chelsea can't nick them. For that reason I'm not looking forward to the Youth Cup, cos that's when all the scouts appear.
  • I agree its a difficult situation

    If we can sign

    Poyet
    Gomez
    Edwards
    Fox
    Muldoon

On long contracts the future will be so exciting to watch as if we still have

    Azeez
    Silva
    Cousins
    Solly
    Piggorr
    Dennis

It will be a team made in the whole in charlton

Maybe he was in Nando's at the time
  • Very good news.
  • Haven't seen a lot of him. In time could he be a realistic challenge for Fox and the LB berth?
  • Better than Fox and I personally feel with his engine and shooting prowess he is best suited to a left midfield role.

Would offer us more than Fox going forward. I am surprised he hasn't broken into the first team before now. When Fox gets sold to Manure I would like to see Tareiq take his place

  • Glad to see him sign, wouldn't mind seeing Obileye signing a new contract either. Very highly rated in L2 and had a great loan spell at Dagenham, big strong and athletic..

Better than fox? you can't tell until he plays 1st team football.

he should be played in the left midfield, left wing position.
He have a great shot on him : Free kick at Dagenham in friendly nearly broke the net.
He's one i feel could step up but until he's given a chance, it's mere speculation.

Well what are we waiting for??? Get ya boots on son.

Having said that he'll have to oust Cousins first.

Not since AD 936, when King Athelston of Wessex was busy land grabbing to expand his kingdom.

He pushed the Cornish westwards and set the boundary between the Kingdom of Wessex and the Kingdom of Cornwall at the River Tamar.

    But don't tell the Janners!

  • Was you there Oggy ?

How did he do? Sounds like he was one of very few positives, judging by the radio commentary.
