I will post every day , the best films ( in my opinion) on terrestrial and free view TV over the holiday period.

    Papillon was the kind of film they used to show on TV before videos, DVD's, SKY etc that used to be a big event. Cracking film.

    As far as i can see the only time it's on is on Sky Greats channel at 4.35 am on Friday . Set your alarm !

    Amazing, cheers ! love that film. Also, I watched Papillon for the first time yesterday and thought it was a great film.

    Watched Con Air last night. Ain't seen it for years and can't believe how shit it is, and to think I use to say it was one of me favorite film ffs!

    To be fair I haven't seen it for donkey's years either . Perhaps it hadn't aged well ?

    It's not on at all over the Christmas or new year period .Shame cos my kids love that film .
    The 2005 remake is on FIVE Star at 3pm on the 27th. Not a patch on the Gene Wilder version.

    Scrooged is a fantastic film. The Night the Reindeer Died...

    Will be watching NFL when Never Let Me Go is on - loved both the film and book of Remains of the Day, didn't like the novel of NLMG so dunno.
