Sod all to do with them, was released from his contract last week

  • Would definitely take Phillips, would have liked Bamford on loan from Chelsea but he's just gone to Derby.

Last season at Selhurst Phillips came on and completely changed the game in their favor, he could still do a job for 6 months imo.

Need a bit of pace, sharpening up Benty's fitness for a month or two would be very appealing, however, unlikely....

I reckon Michael Van Gerwen would do a job for us up front

Wells at Bradford would be too expensive.
There is that bloke at Walsall Craig Westcarr who may be affordable, tho he is 28.
Would've liked Bamford...oh well, doubt Reading would loan to us in the same division. Assombalonga from Posh would also be great.
    Otherwise somebody from overseas?
If we get a prem loanee we really need to know the set up. Don't know if Obika is fit, but it isn't our job to re-habilitate, or give a cosy gig to a prem player. A 'hungry' prem loanee is different.

No thanks, too old, wouldn't get 90 minutes out of him week in week out especially on our glue pot of a pitch.

Philips won't be coming to Charlton as he will move on from Palace to be nearer his family up north.
  • We wouldnt be able to get the lad from Peterborough as they charge crazy transfer fees

Callum Wilson from Coventry for me... works well with Leon Clarke so should work even better playing ofr Yann up front

    Hitchen? Deepest darkest north that!

I'd have him as an option on the bench... If we could somehow get ALF then that would be spot on but doubt even with the new man we could afford him. Obika would make perfect sense, Powell knows him, he knows us
  • Bent would make so much sense, Curbs knows he would be welcome, we could restore his confidence then he would become an asset for Fulham to use or sell come the end of the season - simple!
