I would be very very happy with Burke right mid Lua Lua left mid . Asking bit much though I think lol

Would need a parachute type money budget to be able to get those two, two of the best in the league on their day. Not sure we'll ever be that sort of club any more, after our previous of spending huge..

Cedric Bakambu? He's still at Sochaux, no one brought him in the end.

He's scored 7 goals in Ligue 1 this season, the same as Lavezzi if that means anything....

They are both out of contract.

Without having to pay a transfer fee, I'd hope we could offer fairly big wages.

Chris Burke would definitely be attainable. He'll know he will have to take a paycut wherever he goes.

I wouldn't imagine LuaLua would be on a massive wage.

A couple of smart finishes on YouTube. Only 5ft10 though :)

Sounds a bit like our Polish international!!!

"On 4 January 2013, Buckley signed a new four-and-half-year contract at Brighton, tying him to the club until 2017"
  • Paddy McCourt just got released from Barnsley, he's scored some amazing solo goals:

Good player, completely ignored by Hodgson.

That's the main reason they got relegated. Sharp stopped scoring.

Paddy McCourt is so inconsistent and unfit.

    Avoid like the plague IMO.

He's ok but hasn't really cut it at Hamburg (they've got an awful defence despite having one of the best keepers in Germany). I would say he's quite a way short of International class at the moment.

St Etienne winger and Ivory Coast international Max Gradel could return to England this summer with several Premier League clubs showing an interest in the talented former Leeds United man.

That would be fantastic. Roland would be a few million lighter in the pocket though.

Don't know about light in the pocket, i'm sure he'dbe light headed if he spent half of what was required to sign that wish list.

Jokes aside, i'd really liketo seeus sign up a quality set of players on permanent deals, with a 'few' quality loan players. Please no cast-off's that'll make no improvement to the first 11.

Surely whoever we sign this summer has got to be better quality than what we signed last Summer, saying that I was far from impressed with what we brought in , in January, so I'm yet to be convinced what our strategy is?
