Unless it is going to come out Poyet is off today so they want to get this out there, or am I just being a skeptical.
THIS is the player Deegs has been waiting for us to sign before he himself commits to Charlton once more.
Believe !

Moderately whelmed.8

Reza & Igor - two international strikers!
have we ever boasted such a possible partnership
no wait
Reza, Igor & Churchie - THREE international strikers
WOW !14 -
It's far from a done deal . He hasnt agreed personal terms yet and you know how it went the last time we tried to agree terms with a striker.0
-
By announcing this now rather than when he's signed are the club saying to Morro, Poyet COG and other potential signings "This is the sort of player we are after, sign for us"2

Didn't Polish Pete have a similar record for his club? Bit more confident with this one though if Bob already knows him. Plus, he's older and has played at a higher level than Pete.nichorob said:FC Copenhagen's number 9, 16 goals in 44 apps, 22 year old Angolan international, interesting!

Wales, Iran and Angola. All of whom would struggle in the Championship lol. Will rate this guy on how he plays for us, hopefully the start of some more, one or two with very good Championship experience would give me hope :-)lancashire lad said:Reza & Igor - two international strikers!

Deemed worthy of starts in the Champions League against Galatasary an Real Madrid. Actual record last season was 13 in 29.The Red Robin said:

The comparison with Polish Pete is unfair as this guy has operated at a much higher level.1 - Sponsored links:

So no longer can we say "when it's on the OS...." If the Club are going to annouce when "fee agreed".
Another great tradition crushed up the brutal Belgian heel. : - )
Hope it happens. My son rang to say he has 92/100 pace on FIFA (which is some computer game for kids, not a scouting tool) so fast.
The most promising part, IMO, s that it seems Bob was a factor in the deal.

Yeah but what's he like on Football Manager?2

@RichCawleySLP: Vetokele came on in 90th minute of Champions League game at home to Real Madrid. Played 2nd half of 3-1 defeat to Galatasaray.Clem_Snide said:

Fee rumoured to be in excess of 1 mill. Happy if true.0

Bob Frankensteiner goes with what he knows and signs Igor.
First Angolan surely?
Welcome. Enjoy it Igor0 -
Decent missus...15

1 million what?3

On the YouTube video, reminds me very much of BWP...0

Oh dear. The stats website I looked at is obviously wrong then. Both games were listed as him having started.Airman Brown said:

Edit*
BBC has him playing the whole game against Madrid and an unused sub against Galatasaray.

I find that very hard to believe. Where are these rumours from?flyingkiwiDK said:Fee rumoured to be in excess of 1 mill. Happy if true.

Bolaños' contract ended this season, I'm not sure where he's going - but it would be amazing to have him here again, he's a very special player, and one more international :-)Weegie Addick said:Welcome, Igor.
Now all we need is Christian Bolanos to put the crosses in for him -he's at Copenhagen, isn't he?0 -
Vetokele is quality on fifa, so hope he's actually good0

Insightful analysis on CL? What is the world coming to?sam3110 said:Vetokele, Parszyczek, Ghocchannejhad and Church, just need a lump (O'Grady) and that'll be the strikers.
Harriott, Wilson, Cousins, Jackson midfield, need 3/4 more, ideally a creative midfielder, a utility winger who is left Footed, a box to box player and a midfield general.
Wiggins, Solly, Wood all fine, but we desperately need another 3 centre backs, Nego and Fox good enough back up at full back
Pope, we need a more experienced head to compete with our talented but young keeper.
Overall I'd say we need another 8 players0 -
Fixed it for you.golfaddick said:
so we sign him & then lend him to SL.WSS said:Standard Liege tried to sign him in January
wont ever see him wear the red of Charlton. FACTSupposition0 -
Can someone wake me up please. Nice dream though......
Strange to see an announcement before the deal is finalised but from his interview comments this looks like a formality.
So, if Big Bob likes playing a target man with attacking wide midfielders, it looks like we will be playing with 2 up front. Igor isn't the big guy and i can't see us shelling out what must be decent money for another bench warmer. I wonder if Polish Pete or Churchy will be shown the door.0 -

I'd be happier if it was a lot less. Then we have more to spend on other players.flyingkiwiDK said:Fee rumoured to be in excess of 1 mill. Happy if true.

Who is the target man then?0 -

Is there an African Nations Cup coming up?
Unfortunately the 'crap goalkeeping cup' takes place every 2 years. Of all the tournaments we have (the WC, the Euros, Copa America, the Philips Stayen trophy), this is the one played most frequently at an international level. For me it shld be every 4 years.
